Glen Henderson has been painting houses and small businesses in Bucks & Montgomery counties, to the northeast of Philadelphia, since 1995 and has an artistic eye and the ability to envision what other craftsmen cannot. He is often called upon to provide custom color and design ideas to personalize homes. Once a project is underway Henderson Custom Painting will handle any carpentry and minor construction required to complement the our exceptional painting services. Recently, Glen and company designed and built a 3rd floor addition in Jenkintown using his long list of trusted local contractor friends who had previously helped him renovate and restore his 1953 home in Hatboro and his 1923 home in Huntingdon Valley. Recently, Henderson Custom Painting finished an exterior restoration of a Victorian mansion in Bryn Athyn dating back to the 1890’s. We saved the customer money by replacing only the cedar shakes and rotted wood that were needed before re-staining and painting. Along the way, Glen provided several contractor resources to the customer and the general contractor to assist in other aspects of the restoration as well. Henderson Custom Painting can take a painted fireplace and make it appear as if it was never painted (like the original stone) using our vast experience in faux finishing. We also can custom paint or stain kitchen cabinets that need a face-lift. Glen is always a source of knowledge on the latest painting trends, both in terms of design and in technical product data. One of his specialties is a natural stone-like acrylic floor finish he ships from Canada that can re-surface almost any surface and make it look like stone or tile – without the mess or cost of replacing the floor. We are one of only two Pennsylvania based painting contractors that work directly with this specialty manufacturer.
