We hired Hudson Paint Refinishing after having to "fire" our FIRST painter who was painting our honey oak kitchen cabinets. Hudson came recommended to us via a color consultant we had hired. Simone & Ricky came to our rescue and they did an excellent job as did Jordan. Whereas the FIRST painter failed to use enough paint to get into the grain of the wood - Hudson Paint Refinishing went above and beyond our expectations with their painting & spraying techniques. They also had to "Bondo" the face of our doors & draw fronts with glazing putty in order to block the tannins and stains from showing thru from the oak. They did this knowing it was the right thing to do for the customer. We are very please with the results and would hire them again in a second for any cabinet refinishing services.

He really takes pride in his work and makes sure everything is perfect! Ricky did a fantastic job painting my cabinets and Edwin did a beautiful job painting my entire house.

I can’t begin to say how satisfied I am in choosing Hudson Paint Contracting for my exterior home paint project. As a retiree and From my 1st meeting with Simone the proprietor I knew I would be in good hands. In examining the home I told him what I wanted and expected. He told me exactly what the job would entail, the quality paints used, the insurance he carried, how long the project would take etc. He soon followed up with a written quote which I thought was very fair and we agreed to proceed. He set a start date and the project would take 5 days. At 7:30 the foreman Ralph along with 2 other professional painters Nick and Orbin arrived ready to work. These are not your Home Depot parking lot day laborers. They immediately set up all the various size ladders and stripped the house of all shutters, mail box, gutter leaders and thoroughly power washed the house from top to bottom. The 2nd day they painted all the trim with 2 coats Semi gloss white including window trim, eaves and soffits, 2 coats semi gloss black on the shutters and 2 coats masonary gray on the entire foundation. The following 3 days were spent painting the entire body of the house with brush and roller Benjamin Moore Chelsea Gray. They re-installed all the shutters, downspouts, my new mailbox and address numerals. This Hudson Painting crew were professionals knew what they were doing knew how to paint and thoroughly enjoyed the job even singing. Every day they left an immaculate job site folding and stacking all of the drop cloths, neatly arranging all of the paint cans brushes and rollers and stacking all ladders in one place. I inspected the complete job and could not find one fault with my painting project. I left a cooler with cold bottles water and treated the crew for donuts and coffee one day and with pizzas for a lunch another day. I named my painting crew Michelangelo, Picasso and VanGogh. I’m a retired senior citizen and I got certainly got my money’s worth along with a brand new home. I received so many compliments from neighbors and friends. I will definately use Hudson Painting Contracting for future interior paint projects and would certainly recommend to others. The benchmark for paint contractors.

Hired Hudson Paint Contracting to paint my entire house exterior. The owner of the company came to my house for the estimate, and was very detailed about every aspect of what his company could do to the exterior. The team was very professional and meticulous with painting every aspect of the exterior. When the project was done, I was notified by the painting team to take a look at the exterior and address anything I found. I could not find anything wrong at all! My wife loved the way the job turned out that she started to pester me about getting the house interior done by Hudson Paint. Simone and the entire team at Hudson Paint have been such a pleasure to work with. We hired them to paint the hallways (walls, ceilings, railing and trim) in our 6-story condo building. The walls hadn't been painted in over 15 years and were in terrible condition. The team did an excellent job patching and repairing crumbling trim and scraped walls. Scheduling was easy. Simone easily accommodated a last-minute schedule change when we had other emergency repairs come up with the condo association. The team were experts. Our space had a combination of existing oil and latex paint. Doors were painted with different paints. There were different materials and surfaces they needed to paint. Everything was prepped and executed professionally. The finished product is gorgeous and looks like it'll last for years to come!

They did an AMAZING job on a very difficult interior at my daughter's home, so we decided to use them for our entire first floor. We were happy, start to finish. The owner, Simone, came in a timely fashion to our home and gave us a quote that we thought was in line with reputable painters (I'm sure you can always go cheap, but remember you usually get what you pay for!). They started the job as planned and arrived each day on time. The workers were ALL friendly and approachable, with a special call out to Ralph, the guy in charge of our job. We asked for a couple of tricky things (like painting the plastic rim on our two floor ceiling fan) and they were outstanding. They actually cared about the look of what they were painting, doing what needed to be done to get the job right - like the necessary FOUR coats to change my small powder room from purple to the most amazingly vibrant raspberry! I would not hesitate to use them again, and I would recommend them without reservation.

I don't typically write reviews but in this case, I made an exception. Hudson Paint Contracting was fantastic. Simone's crew was professional, personable, trustworthy, and most importantly, did an amazing job painting the interior of our house and the new built-in unit. Walls look great, colors flow, and their patchwork fixed cracks/holes throughout the main level. They even went above and beyond, repairing the frame on a closet before re-painting. The job was completed within the time frame they quoted and we couldn't be happier with the finished product. I'd say price, quality, reliable, and trustworthy are the key elements when engaging painters/contractors. In Hudson, we got all of the above.

I cannot begin to tell you how happy my wife and I were with Hudson Paint Contracting for doing the extensive work we needed. From the beginning in meeting with Simone and presenting us with a fair estimate relative to the large, detailed work we needed - we knew we were in good hands. Work needed: fix stains and seams from a roof leak, in our master bedroom tray ceiling, stress cracks with age from home settling, fix nail pops throughout the bedroom and closet- by nailing back in those nails and adding screws then re-plastering. They also painted all three rooms and it looks like our place is new again! Ricky and Darrin took such great care with our home- very fastidious, polite and they completed the job in the time promised. We will definitely use them again! Simone and his crew at Hudson Paint Contracting handled two projects for us. We found them very professional and a pleasure to work with, completing all work on schedule within budget with no over-runs. Afterwards, Simone followed up to see that everything was satisfactory. The first project was our deck. It needed power washing and painting and we are delighted with the way it looks and how well it blends with and enhances the house. Its easy to care for too, just blow off as needed!! Second, they installed Easy-On Gutter Guards using our existing gutters. Other bids we got were more expensive as they wanted to install their own products along with replacing our existing gutters, which was not necessary. We will most certainly use Hudson Paint again for other external or internal projects we may have in the future.
