Excellent work, showed up on time, completed the work on time, no issues and all looks great, the workers were very professional as well.

This is the second time Kenneth Axt has painted the exterior of our house. We are extremely happy with the finished product again. David took his time and gave us a very detailed breakdown of the carpentry repairs that needed to be done and what was to be painted and how it was to be painted. Luke was very professional and did a great job with the carpentry work and was very careful to clean up afterward. Marvin and his crew were very meticulous with all of the preparations covering up and protecting the bushes and outdoor furniture, etc. He answered every question I had and addressed any concern that popped up in the process. They were very friendly and professional. We were thrilled to have them working on our house.

Kenneth Axt Painting was fast, friendly, and efficient from the first phone call to the follow-up when the work was complete. Our house is only a little over 4 years old but the weather has taken a toll so I called for an estimate on painting the exterior trim of our home. We didn't need to be home for the estimate and I had a proposal within 48 hours. Kenneth Axt wasn't the least expensive estimate we received but it was the most extensive, explanatory, and inclusive. I had only one follow-up question that was answered immediately. We were put on the schedule as soon as an opening became available and the work was completed in two days. It is such a relief to look out my back door and not see mold and mildew all over the white trim. We can't wait to spend our days outside. We will use Kenneth Axt when we are ready to paint the rest of the exterior in a few years and for any inside painting. If customer service and quality are things that you value look no further for your painting needs.

Kenneth Axt is an outstanding and professional painting contractor who has repainted our home twice. Each job was thorough and complete. The estimate is very complete and well thought out. The dod some very nice carpentry jobs prior to painting which is essential to any good job. They also returned several years latter to take care of a small issue that arose. I would not hesitate to recommend them .

Unlike most other reviews you'll read, we had an unsatisfactory experience with Kenneth Axt last year. So if you are considering their services, please spend 2 minutes to read our review. We hired them to paint our entire house, a straightforward enough job a traditional colonial. Unfortunately, their paint team made a significant error in how they prepped our HardiePlank siding. The estimator David (Ken’s brother), specifically stated in the paperwork not to caulk the butt joints. The crew that arrived did caulk three sides of our home before they realized their mistake. From there, things got worse: 1) The issue was consistently dismissed as being minor or trivial despite there being clear, cosmetic damage to nearly 100 siding planks 2) Attempts to resolve the issue were short-sighted and further damaged the siding (mainly in their attempts to fix the issue, i.e. sanding) 3) Because of the significant cost to resolve the issue, Ken Axt dragged out discussions in attempt to arrive at only a partial fix In the end, we lost all faith that Ken Axt could restore our home to its original condition. We still needed to fix the issue, so we then called 3 other highly rated pros who confirmed that that yes, these were significant issues and we were perfectly right in expecting better from a painting company. The highly rated company we hired to fix the issue did fix these issues, and ironically, made an error as well. But unlike Kenneth Axt, they did not minimize the issue and instead fixed the issues right, the first time. If you've searched for reviews of Kenneth Axt before and found negative reviews, you'll notice that their responses exhibit the same pattern of behavior. Either the customer is wrong or being overly nit-picky on minor issues. The objective is clear – to minimize or downplay any issues to maintain their top rating on various review sites. Buyer beware.

Kenneth Axt &Associates painted the entire outside of our house about 5 years ago and returned recently when we needed touch up and repair. They are very professional, and do an excellent job with both painting and the carpentry work. I highly recommend them.
