Majestic Painting & Finishing LLC

We hired Majestic Painting & Finishing to install hardwood floors & new trim throughout the main level of our home. The flooring was Adams Oak 5" oak & the trim was a wide trim that was painted white. He used a combination of mdf & poplar, the poplar being used in the high traffic areas susceptible to being damaged. This was a suggestion by Mark, that kept costs down while also being very durable. They discovered the subfloor was uneven in certain areas & they leveled it out perfectly with minimal costs. The floor is perfectly straight & goes the entire width of the house. They filled the nail holes perfectly & they were also able to have the trim on top of the flooring without having to use shoe molding. We also hired them to install a new tile floor, bench system & cabinet in our laundry room which also acts as an entry to the house from the garage. They created the bench system from a picture that my wife showed them, & customized it to fit the space we have. They were able to build it right on top of the tile that they laid, allowing for natural looking, easy to clean cubbies that are perfect for shoes underneath the bench. They created shelving above the seating area with crown molding above it going all the way to the ceiling. The cabinet they built to go over our washing machine is far superior to any of our factory made kitchen cabinets in the house. We couldn't be happier with the job they did in our house. They did high end work on an affordable budget. They were extremely courteous, easy to get along with & they cleaned up after themselves every night before we got home. They explained things very well & communicated timelines very accurately. The only regret I have of this project is I didn't take Mark up on his offer to spray paint our trim as he did with the bench system as it had such a smooth finish. We had Majestic Painting do work for us 8 years earlier, and it was showing its age. So we went back to them. Mark Ebel greeted us, and we found him so engaging, he became our kitchen designer, flooring consultant & paint & finishing contractor. He exhibited an outstanding level of professionalism by starting off with a home visit and an assessment of our tastes, soliciting our likes and dislikes of our old kitchen. He prepared several designs, which we modified together to suit our taste and budget. Some designers get offended if the client doesn't gush over their 'perfect' creation. Mark walked us through the tedious task of cabinet, surface, flooring, finishes, and lighting selection without making it arduous, but remaining thorough and comprehensive. When construction began, we met the team, in addition to Mark there was Dale, & Brett, & Alex, who were similarly professional and accomplished. They handled everything, from demo, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc. in a craftsman-like manner. He was always courteous, cleaned up after himself, pleasant, respectful, and cooperative. When he said he would be there, he was, and on time. There were a few problems (such as a back splash tile that looked good when we picked it, but not when a trial piece went up, and an electrical problem on the island); such is the nature of any complex project. Majestic, Mark, and Dale were there to listen to our concerns, and respond with acceptable solutions. We have been enjoying our kitchen now for more than 2 years, and absolutely love it! Visitors rave over its style and functionality. We give Majestic Painting and their team the highest recommendation.

These guys are great! Not only do they communicate with you about progress on the project, they also inform you of things they find during the project that you might want completed while they are there. Their paint lines are so straight, and everything they do is meticulous. We will definitely be using them for future projects, and have already recommended them to friends.

Mark has a wonderful creative eye, and good feel for the needs of his customers. I especially appreciated his attention to detail, and timeliness and tidiness of his work.
