R&J Painting went above and beyond with painting our entire condo! We just purchased this condo and our interior walls were in really bad shape. They repaired each and every ding and dent. Our interior walls, ceiling and trim look brand new and beautiful. We can't say enough great things about the R&J team. R&J was the only organization who stuck me with confidence they could deliver the end product I was looking for. The entire process from start (asking for an estimate), middle (getting an estimate & an appointment) and the actual work, everyone was prompt, courteous and professional. They have a great communication process (email, text and calls). My 2 painters (D & D) did a great job. I had ceiling and wall work, and some patching too. They interacted with my dog and cat, and were very personable too (don't take that like they were chatty, just good guys). I would use R&J again, and wish I used them for my exterior trim work!

I had a great experience with R&J painting. They were responsive, attentive and very professional. And I give them a 10 out of 10 for communication. I had a unique situation where I needed the brick on a 100 year old fireplace painted and Ray worked with me on the best way to seal the brick and paint it. It looks lovely! The entire experience with R & J has been nothing but amazing. Starting with the initial request for a quote for an interior painting job at our home, I requested an appointment online which was promptly responded to and scheduled. Ray, the owner, visited to learn what we were looking for. We toured the house, he carefully noted what work would be done in each room (some drywall repair, etc.), which sections to paint. He took his time and I felt there was real care being taken to understand what we wanted as well as getting to know us on a personal level, not in a nosy way - just a nice touch and made us feel valued. Once the walkthrough was completed, Ray left for a few minutes to enter all info into his laptop in his car and then came back with a detailed PRINTED (!!) quote – mind blown! The timing of when our job would start was made clear from the start (~6 weeks out at the time), we received a follow up on time with a reminder of details (how many people in the crew, hours of the day, COVID protocols, etc.). All scheduling and "paperwork" is managed by Tonya, who was also so kind when asked for a few tweaks to be made to the quote to clarify scope. R & J Painting also offered a complementary color consultation which we took advantage of with Linda helping with the color choices and suggesting ideas (e.g. accent walls in a different shade, etc.). Super nice and immensely helpful! The day the job started, a crew of 3 all arrived at the same time (not trickling in one by one) at the time that was promised. The crew, led by Paul (and included Dan, with Victor/Corey alternating) introduced themselves by name and were all wearing face masks which they kept on during the entire job because it is their standard business protocol. All were polite and courteous and answered any questions we had. They were considerate while working and I was surprised how little noise they made; every time I walked through the area they were working in, they were doing exactly that: working! They had ear buds in and were just “at it” from the time they walked in to the time they left every day. They protected all surfaces and furniture that could not be moved out of the room and at the end of the every day vacuumed and picked up all debris and their tools leaving them in a small dedicated area – with previous contractors I would often find a Gatorade bottle on the counter or a candy wrapper in the garage, etc., which is not a big deal at all to pick up a couple of things but with this team it was just noticeably different, their work ethic and conduct were exemplary. In the end, Paul reviewed each room with me, asking if anything else could be addressed. Of course, to no surprise their quality of work was flawless. I would 100% recommend R & J Painting for any painting job and would hire them again in heartbeat – their pricing was fair and worth the investment. The job was done exactly how we wanted it and their customer service is exemplary!

I had a huge project for R&J Painting. Multiple rooms: family room, bedroom, kitchen, laundry room, bathroom and 2 story foyer. I also had tile and carpet being installed and an unexpected surgery to throw into the mix of scheduling. Ray and Tonya were great with working with me to find a time suitable for all of us to begin the project. Brandon was the lead on my project. He and Mike were awesome! We hired R&J Painting LLC to fix an area of wood that had rotted on our house, as well as to paint some of the exterior of our home. Our experience could not have been better! Ray came out to take a look at the job and to give us a quote. He was very professional and was willing to give advice on the options we had. Tonya helped to set up an appointment with a color specialist - free of charge - and she was available to help with any questions throughout the whole process. On the day the work was completed, the crew was very professional. They were able to get our job done in one day! The only thing that would have made the service even better, would've been if they could have fit us in faster. It took about two months for them to get to our job, but I guess that shows that they are good at what they do and they are in high demand! Very grateful for the work they did.

After much research, I finally found the painting company that cares about my hse as much as I care about my hse. That is R&J Painting— They did every single thing they said they would do = Each & every painter treated it like it was their own & did not stop short of making it look as “brand-new” as possible! However; even with extra help, they were not able to finish it before weekend which was okay with me, but my husband insisted and wanted to be done. In that situation Paul and Brandon came at 7am on Saturday and worked until painting was done. Thank you very much for doing that. All the painters were very skilled, professional, courteous, and paid attention to details. They smoothed out the walls by filling in the holes and all the cracks, and replacing drywall where needed. They cleaned they work area each day before they left. We were impressed with the precautions they took to cover and move the furniture and other items that were on the way. I seldom write a review but cannot pass up this opportunity to let everyone know what a fantastic company R & J Painting has turned out to be! From the initial contact with Ray giving me an estimate, to the completion of the job, it was very professional. Not only did they paint almost the entire interior of the home they had to remove wallpaper from four rooms; one of which had paper with paint over it. Some of the other companies giving me a quote would not even commit to a price for the removal of the wallpaper. R & J Painting wasn't the highest nor the lowest estimate. Ray's crew began with three (Dan, the leader, Brandon and Paul) for the first two days and increased to five until completion. All the men were experts at what they did and extremely polite, courteous and helpful. Also, the clean up was unsurpassed! This is the 2nd project R&J completed for us in the last 30 days. Their work is top notch. Today, Wade was our painter and his attention to detail and skill is top notch. From the time we were first introduced to Ray the owner and communicated with office assistant Tonya until completion of the job by Wade today, I cannot think of one area I would suggest improvement. We were impressed with R & J Painting from the moment Ray stepped in the door to estimate our job. We got two bids, and even though they were similar in price, we felt much more comfortable with R & J. They have a large crew, and were able to handle moving all of our heavy furniture, even our entertainment center, without unplugging or disconnecting anything. Dan headed the team of three, with Brandon and Nick. When it appeared they might not be able to finish as planned on the second day, they brought in Wade to help for a couple of hours. They laid down drop cloths immediately starting at the front door, even though they weren't going to be working in that part of the house until the second day. They did very professional work, and cleaned up each day. They removed picture hooks from the walls, painted behind them and put them right back up. Dan and I walked through the house at the end of the job, and he made sure I was happy with everything they had done. When they had cleaned up, Ray stopped back to inspect the job and take pictures. In all, I was very pleased, and would not hesitate to recommend R & J Painting to anyone!

R&J painted the 2nd story of my cedar sided house via sanding, caulking, primer and solid stain (2 coats) the end of August, 2018. They exceeded my expectations in terms of timing and quality of workmanship. Ray and his team of four painters were both friendly and professional. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Ray came to my house to quote on the staining of the exterior of our cedar home. He was very nice and professional. I ended up having more questions, called him back, and he came out a second time. Not even aware that he was going to get the job. He answered every single question I had, and never made me feel as if I was asking a stupid one. He is very honest, doesn't take advantage of you, walks around the house with you, shows you what should be done, and explains everything that will be done to you in full detail. The crew he had paint the house were very professional, respectful, and cleaned up every day before they left. It only took one week to start and finish the job. Ray told me they start at 7:00 am. I would look out my window at 6:55 and they were already here and ready to start. They were all very meticulous on every thing they painted. If one of them wasn't satisfied with what they did, they redid it! I found out from one of the painters that Ray added a thing or two to be done to make the house look nicer that was not on the original quote. Ray never mentioned it to me, and he never charged me for it. Who does that??? Ray is also very reliable. Every time I would text him he would reply within minutes, or Tonya, his office manager, would reply very quickly to my emails. This is a company that I would most definitely hire again! Actually, we had him give us a quote for painting our basement.

I could not be happier with the job Ray and his team completed. My 80-year-old home was overdue for some exterior TLC, including replacing rotted wood and trim. I chose R&J after getting estimates from five different companies. From the start, Ray was very detail-oriented, taking the time to really look at everything that needed to be done. I got an itemized estimate that clearly stated all the work included. The crew started on time and worked diligently from start to finish, even braving an unexpected wasp nest and the occasional thunderstorm. I feel like they really put a lot of focus into the prep work, which everyone tells me is the key to a good result. R&J has painted the outside of our house, stained our deck, refinished our wood garage door beautifully, and has painted several rooms inside our house over the past 10+ years. They always do a great job, very professional, clean up is great. Ray is great to work with!

We had R&J stain/paint (we used a solid color stain, so it is more like a paint) our deck twice in the past 10 years. Both times it turned out great. The most recent time it had some bubbling issues due to moisture from under our deck. We have it closed of for esthetics so there is really no airflow. Ray came back and fixed everything as he stands behind his work. A+++
