Rick and son refinished my IPE tropical wood deck and restored it to its intended beauty. It had been painted with an opaque finish by the builder 12+ years ago. Ric meticulously removed the ugly old finish, it is beautiful now. They also painted the white stair risers and spindles and posts. It looks better than when it was built! Thanks Rick!

I recently purchased a house and hired Southern Innovations Custom Painting. I had the entire house painted plus the front door stained. It was a pleasure meeting and doing business with Rick and his son. They were very professional and timely and the quote was very reasonable given the amount of work to be done. It was truly a pleasure to have Rick come in and "clean up" a mess that another contractor had left behind. Rick repainted our Master Bathroom cabinets that were a total disaster from a pervious job, and he left them with a factory finish that are a pleasure to see and feel. He is prompt with his response time, keeps you informed of his schedule, gives an accurate cost and time estimate, and is consistent in keeping you informed on progress with a project. He is very conscientious about keeping his work space clean, and leaves no trace, other than his excellent craftsmanship, that he has been onsite. We will certaintly contact Rick for any other painting projects that we may have.

Our house is 100 years old. We hired Rick to paint our chimneys and large cement columns that were in desperate need of help. The detail to prep work was amazing as it lay the foundation for a great paint job. We were so happy with the quality of work we had rick come back to paint our pergola and all 34 shutters. Our house looks so crisp and clean. We will have him come back for other projects because of the quality and timely manner the work was done in. We are very happy. Excellent job

I hired Rick to paint my ceilings. He did such a great job, I had him paint all the walls as well. Rick’s quote was half of another painting contractor, and his work was nothing but exceptional. I’ll only hire Rick for my painting needs.

Best painter I ever used! If you have a painting need this is the company to hire. I met Rick Late summer by calling painters close to me on a google search. He immediately responded and came to give an estimate. He was very through in looking at the job and then explaining all the things he would do as well as covering carpet and protecting the surrounding areas. When it came time to do the job he communicated everything he was doing and was in constant contact giving me updates as needed. He exceeded all expectations and even did little extra things that needed to be done without additional charges and to just make it look right! Do yourself a favor and skip all the other estimates and painters. This is the company to do the job right or he will make it right. I appreciate this company because they are professionals in all they do.

I actually received Rick's information from a neighbor, who highly recommended him. I immediately reached out to Rick in regards to painting our kitchen cabinets & staining our stair rails. He came to our home to see what he would be getting himself into, and sent us a quote within a few days. Rick, mentioned that everything that I include in the quote, I do. I can happily confirm that he does. Rick offers quality work and uses quality products to transform whatever he touches. One can tell that he truly enjoys what he does. Rick has done an excellent job repainting our kitchen which involved removing an old wallpaper border and repairing the wall behind it. He takes pride in his work and has come back a couple times without any complaints to perfect a few things and make sure we were completely satisfied. Always on time, personable, and so easy to work with- would hire again and highly recommend him to anyone!

The professional capabilities of Rick Vidallon as a high-quality licensed painting contractor, are the best I have ever experienced!!! Recently, I purchased an 11 year old, custom home, in the Reserve of Sunset SC. Upon closing, we decided to repaint most of the interior and the entire exterior of this property. We chose Rick after discussions with several competing contractors, as he seemed most knowledgeable and detailed in how he was able to describe the breadth of painting processes he would employ. Rick’s care and attention to detail was fully demonstrated by the time he completed our Master Suite. His preparation included full taping and coverage of woodwork, windows, flooring etc. Further, there was not a single run or streak in any of his work - that included more than 7 interior rooms and ceilings. In addition, Rick and his team updated our kitchen and dining room by spraying the cabinets, table and bench with oil soluble materials...making them look state of the art - with blemish free and durable finishes (this preparation, to contain any overspray, was superior to any historical comparisons). Given the quality and detail - demonstrated on the interior projects, we subsequently decided to have the exterior repainted. Again, the care to insure that surfaces were thoroughly cleaned…via power washing (where permissible) as well as sanding and cleaning, have been the best I have witnessed over the course of owning 10 different homes (I have yet to see any paint that has gotten onto a downspout, gutter, window or door vs. the intended paint surface). Rick, prides himself on delivering top quality work to a client and I would gladly recommend Rick and his capabilities, in an industry that sometimes focuses on speed vs. a lasting quality surface!!!
