John came to the house to provide an initial free estimate - he was very respectful and took his shoes off without us asking as soon as he walked into the door. We received a very detailed quote later that same day via e-mail. When we hired them for the job and provided them with a check for the deposit, I received an e-mail receipt confirming the check was received. The painters came to the house exactly when scheduled - they were extremely efficient, clean, and turnover was quick. They took off the wallpaper, patched up all the cracks, primed, and put 2 coats on the walls, trim, and ceiling. Final product came out better than we expected. Until TLC prepped and painted the exterior of our house, we were having to repaint or do touch up every year. Our house gets a lot of sun, and the initial paint job was not primed. So we were getting resigned to having to baby along the exterior paint forever. This amazing crew changed everything. They cleaned and sanded the heck out of the house; they inserted pins between the planks of siding to improve ventilation of the paint; they never gave up. I'm amazed that now, five years after their exterior paint job, there is only the smallest amount of peeling here and there--and that's also after several brutal winters and hot summers. I never thought we could get the full five years from an exterior paint job, but they proved me wrong--and consequently also saved me money. I've also used TLC for interior work. They are prompt, polite, clean and on budget. I would never go to another painter. They are the real thing: a local business that cares about quality and has achieved success over time by delivering what it promises.

TLC Painting did an excellent job on my house. TLC gave us an accurate estimate of the project cost. They scraped the entire outside of the house before painting and even power washed the rear deck and removed moss from the roof for no charge. The painters took their time, did a thorough job and it really shows in the quality of the work. They arrived on time, were very respectful, cleaned up after themselves and started and finished the job when they said they would. I highly recommend TLC Painting!

TLC has completed several painting projects at my home and they have always done a great job. Most recently, TLC sealed and repainted our kitchen ceiling and also painted the front and back staircases. The painting work looks great and the price was reasonable.
