This project was an absolute breeze! Mike was very communicative, explained everything to me in detail, gave his thoughts and opinions when I had questions, fixed a few things along the way, and the job was reasonably priced. I've had terrible experience with contractors prior to finding Unique Construction and Painting, but Mike and his company made everything so easy and so simple. He did an incredible job painting the exterior of my house, and I am SO happy with the results.

Mike is incredibly personable and responsive. We hired him to work on a contract job to remodel major portions of the house and he was extremely helpful and thorough in guiding us through different options and approaches for the project. We enjoyed working with Mike and would highly recommend him! We worked with Mike to remodel our bathroom, fireplace, paint all interior walls, install recessed lighting, drywall the garage, and retile areas of the floor where old built-in cabinets were removed. He did a wonderful job, and we love our new space! We are first-time homeowners and Mike was very patient and provided a lot of helpful information - right from our first call to the completion of the project. This was the main reason why we chose to work with him and are glad we did! After the project started, when he learned that it was not convenient for us to drive, he actually went out of his way to give us a ride to Home Depot. There, he recommended different tiles, toilets we can use. We were so impressed with his service! He was always communicative and responded quickly to calls/messages. Despite the tight timeline we asked for, Mike completed the project ahead of time with very high quality. It also helped that he gave a competitive price for the project. Mike has done two projects for our home, and both have been fantastic results. It's a little crazy to get work done in your house in a covid world. One of the things I was worried about is just the professionalism of the people doing the job. Mike and his team were fantastic. They always wore masks, they practiced social distancing, they limited their movement in the house to just the areas needed ... everything made me feel like they were taking my (and their) safety seriously. We needed a whole house (attic) fan installed. It's pretty hot in Irvine this year, and the fan is saving us a ton of money in electrical bills. Our installation was tricky, because we needed a new access in the ceiling opened up. Mike and his team finished that project in a single day. That was a few weeks ago, and the fan has been flawless since. My wife and I work from home for now - our second project was to add a few interior walls to create a new office space from what was a (kinda useless) sitting room in the front of the house. This quality of this work is just tremendous. This room looks like it was here all-along, and has been perfect to our needs. The price was good. Mike came and gave an estimate first, and there were no surprises along the way. He was responsive, and when I had dumb questions, patient. We've already scoped out a couple additional projects for next year, and we'll start with Mike when we do.

Mike and his team just finished working on our new house and we couldn't be happier with the results. Every interior surface was painted and the attention to detail was amazing. That's all we were planning to do, but once we got started we kept adding and adding jobs. Mike accepted every change with a smile. He is always professional and promptly returns calls and texts. We did our house painting and recesses light project with Unique Construction. They did a very good job on painting our interior of our house and were very professional. Mike was very accommodating on our request even though we made last minute changes to specification of the painting. His prices were reasonable and it is always recommended that you combine all your project and get it done once. We will definitely use Mike and his crew for our future home projects.

Mike's team completed a complete house repaint and cabinet refinish for us, plus some minor trim work and electrical mods. They did an outstanding job in terms of their prep work (it's all in the prep...), paint, and cleanup. Great communication on Mike's part. We are extremely pleased with the result.
