“We are currently working on two bathroom renovations Tami designed for us. This is the second time we get to work with her. Previously she designed custom draperies and helped us give our family room an update. Her draperies are gorgeous! Tami is very good at seeing your vision and pulling it together professionally and within budget. She provides a complete visual presentation and notebook to follow for purchasing, contacts, etc with an itemized breakdown of the budget to follow. She makes it very easy for someone like me who kind of knows what she wants but gets overwhelmed trying to make too many decisions. She delivered her designs within the time frame she gave us and her contractor referrals are very good. Tami also has great follow through with the projects. We have also found that her designer discounts from local vendors help cover her reasonable design fees so it is a win win.”

“My living room is huge, with high ceilings and very poor accoustics. Christina logically and attractively arranged the lofty spaces into fireplace area, dining area, lounging area with coffee and end- tables. Together we selected beautiful drapery and carpets to improve accoustics and add lovely color accents. Her advice was very professional and I am very, very happy.”

“I hired Neela to turn my small dark family room into a room my family wanted to use. Now it's the most used room in the house- after the kitchen, of course! Neela helped transform the room into the perfect family room for MY family. She listened to what I wanted, used family-friendly fabrics as I requested, and placed artistic touches throughout. Now it's a useable space- not just a beautiful space I don't want to touch as many "designed" rooms can be. My husband, son and I love the room. Now we're working in my dining room. After working with another designer (whose finished product I love but whose process I had problems with), I realize how Neela's organized, responsive process was crucial for me as a working mom.”

“We hired Barbara to work with us on the remodel design of our patio and kitchen. She helped us to convert our back yard, which consisted of grassy areas and a large fallow garden area to a beautiful outdoor space that includes a patio with complete amenities, "living room" area, dining area, gas grill, heaters, pergola and shades; along with a large garden area with raised beds. We then moved inside where she turned our old claustrophobic dysfunctional kitchen into a fantastic work space that supports all our needs. From the very first meeting with Barbara to the completion, she was a pleasure to work with. She focuses on getting to know the client and designing a space that supports who you are and how you live. We love the work she did for us. I have recommended her to friends or colleagues repeatedly since she did the work for us.”

“My husband and I bought a new home in a new state. It was more sqft than we had ever thought we would own. After the purchase was complete we hired a contractor to do a kitchen remodel and we realized there was more to be done to the house than we had originally thought and though I had an idea of what I wanted I was feeling major decision fatigue. That's when I called Andrea. She was an absolute life saver. She asked for samples of what we were sure of, asked to be linked to my pinterest boards and we had a quick meeting to go over the things I was stuck on. Our next meeting she not only picked out the 4 things (the whole house paint color, a bedroom paint color, first floor flooring & backsplash) I had asked her to but she also walked me through other pieces that we hadn't thought of like lighting fixtures, hardware for the kitchen, a kitchen faucet, a sink and stain for the wood banister that would help complete the look we were going for. She supported my color choice and want for very bold kitchen cabinet colors and picked a backsplash and flooring that paired incredibly well. She talked out every concern with me and was a gentle guiding hand as we discussed where and how to carry the theme through the house. We hadn't discussed countertops too much but when it came time to pick those for my kitchen she was there for me to talk to and again gently guided me to tops that worked perfectly with the aesthetic. I do not know what I would have done without her help. And she did it all without having been inside the new house!! We hope to use her again when we can afford to a bathroom remodel! I would recommend Authentik Home to anyone looking to refresh or remodel their space.”

“I have been working with Jennifer from The Old Painted Cottage since 2011. I had been a faithful blog reader (http://theoldpaintedcottage.com/) and admirer of her style for a long time before getting the courage to contact her to see if she would agree to a design consultation to help me revamp my living room. My husband and I had recently moved into a 1960's ranch - that still looked like it was from the 1960s! I was so frustrated with trying to "design" my house on a budget and getting nowhere – I desperately wanted and needed help. I kind of knew what I wanted to do and the styles I admired, but I had no idea whatsoever how to create it on a realistic budget in my own home. I hired Jennifer to teach me how to beautify my living room. And oh boy - I cannot say enough about how absolutely wonderful it was (and has been since then) to work with Jennifer! After sending her the dimensions of my living area and images of living rooms I loved (many of them here on Houzz), we scheduled and had a phone consultation and OH.MY.GOSH! Jennifer's energy, excitement, ability to translate what I wanted to the redesign of my space - and all within my budget - was incredible! One of the most amazing things about Jennifer is that she patiently taught me many interior design secrets that I never knew but have since been able to apply to my whole home (e.g., hanging drapes higher than the top of the window, displaying décor items in threes, adding pops of complementary color, etc.) Needless to say, it is 2014 and Jennifer has let me hire her to design almost every room in my house! Since 2011, I’ve had two babies and she helped me design both nurseries. Jennifer also helped me revamp my master bedroom, TV room, and the sunroom! Currently, we are doing a whole house consult on a little lake cabin my husband and I recently purchased. Overall, Jennifer is a consummate professional, her fees are ridiculously reasonable, and she is able to “get into a space” and transform it simply by looking at before photos. Jennifer is a gem! I could go on and on about Jennifer…(and I hope to meet her in person one day soon!)”
