Amanda Kirkpatrick Photography

I am a fine art curator and Amanda has photographed my gallery spaces, exhibitions and individual works of art on many occasions. She gets the shot. Period. She has amazing instincts, a terrific eye, and a knack for color/lighting/composition that is the mark of a truly talented photographer. She's easy to work with, has a terrific personality and disposition. To find someone who posses this level of both talent and professionalism is rare, and to be honest I doubt I'd ever bother working with anyone else.

I am a house architect, and Amanda photographed a new project of mine in Dutchess County, about 2 hours north of NYC. She took dozens of photos in a 1-day shoot, many of which have become my favorite shots ever. Amanda is super-talented with her camera, her eye, and her photo-shop wizardry. And she's a pleasure to work with--completely professional as well as fun to be with. I highly recommend her to architects and others who are looking for quality and value.

Amanda has photographed several projects for me. She is obviously talented and posses a good eye for composing great photographs. What I found to be very important about Amanda is that she is calm, and communicates well. She understands that it is not just about taking good photographs but to convey the story of the project. It is always a pleasure working with her, and I highly recommend Amanda.

Amanda was professional--we quickly set up a shoot date and she turned around the files the same day. Her manner during the shoot was calm, friendly, and very focused. She was flexible with scheduling (we changed the date to get better light). Best of all, the photos are fabulous. It's so important to have professional photographs when selling in NYC, and I'm lucky to have found a pro like Amanda!

Amanda photographed our Garden St. project and we couldn't be happier with the results. The house has since been published multiple times. The photos are fantastic. I would recommend her for any architectural photography work. She is kind and easy to work with and very talented. 5 Stars, 6 if I could.

You don't realize how important a professional photographer is until you don't use one. What a difference Amanda's "real" camera and TOUCHing UP makes. Not that my property needed touching up ;-) but uneven lighting, unforeseen shadows, etc. WOW, what a difference Amanda's expert hand makes. Thank you!
