Mr. Bakhoum has a breadth of skill as a photographer. His photographs of buildings convey a rich ambiance; he allows the personalities of the subjects in his portrait photography to clearly shine through, and his landscapes evoke another era, whether it's future or past. Mr. Bakhoum is able to see the extraordinary in the ordinary, like no other photographer. For example, he'll capture the glossy surface of a bricks sidewalk in sunlight after the rain, or he'll zero in on a telephone pole embedded with staples from advertisements, or the lettering on an electrical transformer. He finds the poetry in everything he fixes his lens on.

The work results are amazing, very detailed and fresh. I am very fond of how creative the ideas are. The colors and the subject designs are very interesting. The quality of the pictures make me feel that I am right at the site where the picture was taken.
