About Us

I was born and raised in the older part of Overland Park, Kansas, in a beautiful old farmhouse chalk-full of charm and character. I’m sure it was this house that laid the foundation for my creativity, appreciation for art, design, architecture, and simplicity. A mixture of excitement, curiosity, and mystery are the feelings that flow through interesting places. My goal is to capture those feelings and the purpose of the design in a single image. I work with architects and their partners who need a photographer that doesn’t over-complicate things. I like to keep things simple to ensure confidence and peace-of-mind for my clients. Our introduction to Thompson Photography came through B.L. Rieke Custom Homes, and Tony's work is exceptional! We were so pleased to see our metal work photographed so beautifully! Tony has the ability to capture the essence of a space, and has a great eye for the small details. Our business is located in Colorado and Tony made the distance seem like nothing at all, his level of customer service was over the top and so appreciated .... even down to a handwritten 'thank you' note after we received the photos!

I love working with Tony. He carefully frames every shot and lets me move accessories and furniture until we have the perfect photo shot. He has a vast knowledge of architectural and interior photography with proper light levels to highlight key features - very difficult to achieve. he is easy going, but professional. We got some great images and he was easy to work with. There was minimal setup and he used mostly available light which makes the process easier and faster. We did some staging for the photos and he was very careful to replace things that had been moved in order to leave the space as we had found it. We wouldn't hesitate to use him for future projects.

Tony was great to work with. He was very friend and professional. Worked quickly and efficently. All of the 360 degree tours he shot turned out very nicely! Would definately work with him in the future.

Tony is a real professional ! He knows his business and is a real asset when marketing a home. His photos are beautiful, crisp and he can make almost any home stand out. He works quickly and turns the photos around so there is no loss in marketing time. I recently used Tony on a home i had listed that had been on the market with three other agents over a three year period. The first thing i did when i listed the home was to call Tony. Soon after we completed and published the photos, i received two offers on the home and sold it.. I only have one problem with Tony and that is he has spoiled me from any other photogrphers.
