“Jesse came highly recommended when we were looking for someone to install paver stone flooring for our outdoor patio. He did not disappoint. He is one of the best in terms of service, promptness, price competitiveness and honesty that I have ever come across. He helped us think through different designs for an outdoor kitchen and outdoor patio. He came out to our house probably 3 times to review with us the designs. For personal reasons, we decided to do only the patio floor and not the outdoor kitchen. His service level or commitment did not change, even though the project scope became significantly smaller. He and his crew were always on time, professional and cleaned up after each workday. After the project was done, he followed up and ensured that we were happy and that he met our expectations. He also helped us install an outdoor patio fan and roller shades, when he came out for a follow up after the project was done. I would recommend JL Masonry for any type of outdoor masonry/stone work.”

“Do you remember Mrs. Haversham's home from Great Expectations? That's kind of the look we had going when Ravenscourt met with us. Overgrown, ugly bushes, construction debris from our recent remodel - our yards, both front and back, were a mess. A TOTAL MESS. Each landscaper we met with told us they had their work cut out for them. Laurin and Shawn didn't even flinch. They were not only impressively prepared with ideas and sketches when we initially met, they were also very reassuring about our chances to have more curb appeal and a serene backyard to relax in. After we first met, they created a gorgeous design - one that took into account all the things we wanted from our spaces - and a thorough budget that included explanations for each category or item. Total pros - these two. We hired them immediately. I can tell you now that we have been able to enjoy our yards for over a month that we're so glad we did. Our front yard is now beautiful and inviting. The back is like being on a vacation. Each space reflects our style, personality and the beauty of our remodeled home. “We used 50 Shades of Green this past week. We were amazed at how much they did in 1 day. We had drainage issues, bedding issues, trees that needed work etc. After meeting and getting an idea of what we wanted, Maria emailed several renderings of different layouts of landscaping and we chose plants, locations and a layout. They showed up early and worked late into the first evening. We knew it was going to take more than 1 day. They again showed up on time and finished promptly. We got exactly what we wanted. The crew was professional, personable, and worked very hard. They cleaned up well and we love the results. We highly recommend this company and will call them again if needed. We are a 5 Star reference for sure.”

“We hired this firm to landscape our front beds, after we had the "builder's landscaping" removed. The builder managed to give us all "baby trees" rather than shrubs. This firm came in, assessed the situation, consulted us on the plants and shrubs they felt would look best for us, helped us choose the right materials for the hardscape, scheduled the date, and showed up exactly when they said they would! They were VERY professional, getting the job done with a smile, in two days. When we found that one set of plants didn't look good where they put them, they came right back the next day, with two new ones, that looked perfect. They were extremely friendly, and were eager to meet with our approval every step of the way! I have the confidence in saying, they will be back when we are ready to have the backyard done. And, I have already recommended them to close friends, who have already hired them for lighting and landscaping needs. They truly are wonderful to work with!”

“Inside Out Environments landscaped my back yard around a new pool. Bret came out when it was a disaster zone of excavation and immediately had ideas and creative options. He took into consideration anything we wanted and was highly knowledgeable about what plants thrive and what does not. He took the pool design and sent us simulated pictures that showed the pool with the plants he mentioned around it. He showed different angles so that we had an idea of what it would look like from different parts of the yard. It was GORGEOUS! Our whole sprinkler system had to be redone with the addition of the pool. Excellent job and much better system and easy to understand and control. The landscape lighting he used in the trees and around the walkway reflects in the pool at night. It is just beautiful. We also added an iron fence. It was added with great precision and was built around some guide wires that come down at the back of the property. Welding was done on the spot and it looks beautiful. Bret is extremely artistic and creative. He made what has always been an average to ugly back yard a truly gorgeous showplace. We wanted a mosquito misting system and he has that available. Wonderful for here in Houston! It has been an amazing transformation! Next year, the front yard!”
