The designer was so amazing helping me with floor plans, fabrics, wall colors, lighting and just the whole flow... even helping me figure out what style best works for me and the way I live. “We have been buying furniture and household accessories from Fairhaven Furniture for nearly thirty years, and most recently as our adult children set up their own homes it is the place where our children most want to shop. The items in our home which we acquired from Elizabeth and Kerry - our cherry dining room table, our down-stuffed curved living room sofas, side tables and bedroom furniture - are the artistic touches we love most in our home. Lao, Colleen and Mark have helped us to purchase beautiful pieces for our offices now too, from stressless chairs to sleek couches (we now own two sizes of "the Michael" sofa). On the rare occasions when we have chosen an item that is too big for the space or just doesn't quite look right the staff has helped us without hesitation, removing the furniture back to the store and helping us to make a better choice. There are times I go down to Blatchley Street with nothing in mind to buy, just for the pleasure of looking around at what's new. It's a visual feast of beautiful wood and vibrant materials. Nothing is mass produced, everything is made with care and invention.”

“Hundred Mile was truly a one stop shop! With my help, we designed my dream living room, settled payment , and it was the couple Josh and Kristina who delivered the custom products from Italy and Spain to my house. Besides doing large scale work with them, I have also bought a number of their accessories at their retail shop in Rhinebeck. They are very personable, know about their products. It is impossible to see everything they sell based on the scope of their manufacturers, but they can definitely help you with your modern furniture, accessory etc needs.”

“We spent 3 years searching the internet for a dining room table. We stumbled across Johnny's table and instantly knew it was what we were looking for; it was made from a solid piece (800 pounds) of gorgeous bubinga wood, resting on two curved, custom-cast glass legs, and finished perfectly to show off the grain. We met Johnny at his factory to view the table, and it was there we realized he is an artist whose medium is wood. In the 10 years since we purchased the dining room table and his cantilevered chairs, we have bought many more of his creations. Though they are very different in purpose (from a pear wood hallway table to a wenge bed and dressers) all of them are beautifully designed, meticulously crafted from beautiful wood, and completely original.”
