Awful beyond any company. Took 3 1/2 weeks to complete what was a typical 3 day job. Went days on end without them returning calls. Drained my pool on Tuesday and let it sit until the following Wednesday. When talking to Kim, the owner, she stated "oh, I had no idea your pool was drained. I thought I sent you a message saying we could not do your pool because we are behind. We will start Wednesday and finish Friday". Then of course the next day they cialled and said they had the "wrong tile". The first phone call actually initiated by them was Karen, from the office. She called and said to me "I have no idea what we are supposed to be doing with your pool. Are we taking the tile off are we taking the tile off the stairs"? This was 8 days (mothers day weekend included) after draining. They finally finished three and a half weeks later. When I came home the pool was being filled. The next morning I noticed the water was close to the top and figured they had it on a 24-hour setting or something. So I went to work and called them to make sure that they were coming to turn the water off. Karen, in the office, stated "no you're not scheduled until tomorrow". I asked her what I was supposed to do since I was at work in a different County while my pool was overflowing. Her response was, "that is your responsibility". I asked her when she was planning on letting me know that. And she said in the email she had sent me which she never did. Kim, owner, called back and said "sorry Karen was under stress" and never sent me the information on turning off the water nor any information on how to take care of the pool after it was completed. After finally filling the pool, they left all their equipment on my deck for another week and a half. Heaven forbid I wanted to have a party. All their stuff was over my deck. I spent Mother's Day weekend and Memorial Day weekend with no pool. Do not use this company. They were truly awful. Awful

After reviewing several pool contractors I choose Southern Pools for our Pool resurfacing. Our pool was built in 2002 and needed replastering badly. It's been a month since the job has been completed and I am happy to say that we are very happy with the job done by Southern Pools. Our pool is absolutely beautiful! I was very impressed by everyone associated with Southern Pools. During the job we were notified often on what to expect and when to expect it, Contact between the office and me was traffic! The workers really impressed me, a hard working group, very good at what they do. I highly recommend Southern Pools!
