Lavender Organizes

Lavender is not only a great organizer she is also a great person. I first booked time with her when I wanted to return home from knee replacement surgery and realized I could not negotiate my house due to all the clutter of papers, unorganized areas, and stuff that had taken over most of the house. She listened to my dilemma sympathetically, then came up with a plan to tackle the areas that hindered me the most first: living room, kitchen and bedroom. It took several sessions, but each of those areas looked amazing once we got through. Only then did we start working on other parts of the house that needed attention. She fearlessly tackled the worse messes. In all of this I use the term WE--I know Lavender could have done a lot of this faster working alone, but I told her I needed to work on it with her and she fully incorporated me into the process. That way I had ownership of not only the mess and the process, but also the resulting achievement. She also gave me some good suggestions of how I could make things easier on myself for the long haul--in other words she is trying to make me so much better at handling paperwork, potential clutter, and reorganization that there may be a time when I will no longer need to have her come to help me fix messes! Perhaps then I can capitalize on her design skills. Thank you, Lavender!

I am so happy with the outcome after Lavender worked her magic in my home. I think of her as the "Clutter Whisperer". She transformed spaces that I would ignore into space that now make me happy to be in. In addition to every room and closet being organized, my home now has a much lighter, airier feel to it. As an empty nester with more than enough space for one person, I felt so overwhelmed each time I approached the task of decluttering and organizing my 3-story townhome. I'm so glad I found Lavender Organizes. Starting with the initial consultation, you know your home will be in the hands of a talented and creative professional who knows her business. She also made me feel that she cared about me and understood what I needed. From closets to cabinets to rearranging rooms, moving things around in ways I never would have thought of, she already knew how the space would look before she began. I was constantly amazed. I felt like a partner in the process, which really meant a lot because I was letting someone into my personal and intimate spaces. As for the actual decluttering work, I could not believe how many bags and boxes were filled each week for donating, recycling, bulk collection and what I decided to trash. I donated to some non-profits that picked up, and even sold some unneeded furniture and clothing items on line, all at her recommendation. It had never occurred to me to get rid of a lot of different types of stuff that I didn't use, taking up space. My "homework" each week was to dispose of what had been bagged or boxed up in a manner mutually agreed to, or shop for items needed for the next session. This kept the flow going and maximized our time each week. As we neared the end of the project, I had resolved to stay organized, promptly putting things in their place and not create any new clutter. Working on this project with Lavender taught me ways to maintain this. The whole experience was cathartic; a purging that instantly decreased my stress about the clutter. Lavender is amazing and a compassionate, patient person. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could.

Hands down Lavender Organizes Is the only company that I entrust for my home organizing needs. She is the best organizer in my 40 plus years of being disorganized. She is always on time, very prompt, and focused on achieving her job. I've noticed that she does not need a lot of direction if she is left alone, she will do a great job. I have hired Lavender Organizers to organize the most commonly used spaces in my house, including my mail station; which contained very confidential information. She was extremely professional and efficient. Working with Lavender have been a blessing. She is a very professional organizer along with being patient and knowledgeable. Lavender is so amazing with how she organizes your home in ways you never could have imagine. She is the type of young lady when she touches something it turns into magic. Living and dining room is cozy not cluttered. Closets where everything is accessible without anything falling out and I can immediately find whatever I need. Lavender is AMAZING! Her organizing skills are top notch but above all she is a gentle soul with the best intentions. Household of 6 with 4 kids. She helped us do MAJOR purging and organizing for the entire house. It was a blessing to have her in my home. I would high recommend her as a person and as a professional organizer.
