My mission at reclaimed spaces is to help you regain control over your space and time. To eliminate the stress, clutter, and chaos that keep you from your true priorities. To find the time to do what you love with those you love. Having lots of things doesn’t make our lives any fuller. We may even become slaves to our possessions. That being said, I do not come into a space with the preconceived notion that everything must go. However, I do think we need to be honest with ourselves and determine what it is we really need to live a life that brings us pleasure rather than angst. What we choose to own and take care of determines how we choose to spend our time. It is a reflection of what is important to us. Choosing to be organized is really just about trying another way of living that will work more efficiently than the way we are currently living. It isn’t about becoming a better person or a boring person. When we take control of our things we can live our life more deliberately. It’s about simplifying our lives so rather than wasting our time, we are spending our time to the fullest. Becoming organized doesn’t happen overnight, just as disorganization didn’t happen overnight. It will take time to organize the things you choose to keep. There will be new systems to learn and new habits to acquire. Together, we will create systems that work for you and your family. Every person is unique. Systems we create will be unique and tailored to suit YOUR style.
