I cannot praise Pat enough for her exceptional work, organization, thoughtful approach and, the icing on the cake, how truly lovely, fun, patient and flexible she is. Finding both the expertise and how wonderful she is to work with, is a true find.

Pat was absolutely amazing on the project we worked on together. Arrived early, stayed late, did everything imaginable to make the job a success and I can tell she would do this with every project she works on. Strategic, a great problem-solver and gifted aesthetically, she is the whole package, will definitely work together again!

I recently had Jeane and Pat (Tailorly Home) help me with what I considered an ‘overwhelming’ task of organizing my attic and reorganizing my studio. We spent 2 full days with part 1 – organizing and purging my attic space and then part 2 – transferring items and building IKEA storage units for everything we moved. After discussing my goals and objectives, Jeane and Pat dove in! For reference, my space was filled with art materials, tools … and ‘random stuff’. They both have a great sense of intuition and rationale when it comes to categorizing and labeling items based on function and importance. They have also probably seen everything from people like me who collect lots of ‘treasures’ from nature, to others who are total hoarders! I felt as though they quickly identified my personality type and were able to gently suggest (without judgment) when things should be tossed or not. Having a storage container labeled ‘sentimental’ really helped for those items that I just couldn’t part with but didn’t know what to do with (yet). They know just the right questions to ask to determine whether something is a keeper or not. Because of this, the process became easier and the garbage bags filled quickly! Day 2 was spent transporting items to a new location at my home and building storage units. They both have a good sense of space, layout, and design which was super helpful for deciding placement of new storage, tables, and equipment for my new art studio. We recently worked with Tailorly after the death of my elderly mother. They cleared out our family home, figured out what to do with all the belongings -- some were sold, others given away or disposed of -- and packed up our share of the estate. The movers they vetted and hired were very careful and efficient. The items arrived on time, and the furniture was set down in our three-story home exactly where we wanted. All the boxes, some with very fragile items in them, were packed with exquisite care. Everything arrived safe and sound. We are so pleased that we worked with Tailorly. They were a bright spot in an otherwise sad time.

Pat, Jeanne and Terre from Tailorly Home are awesome and I can't say enough good things about them! I hired them to help me pack my old home and unpack at my new house for a recent move. I am a first time mom with a small 4 moth old baby and was feeling overwhelmed about my move. I am so happy that I found Tailorly Home because they took a lot of stress off my back. We had a virtual walk through and I instantly felt like I was in good hands with the ladies. They came in and packed all my stuff in two days which is amazing because I own A LOT of things. They organized all my items and securely packaged them and labeled each box as to which room it should end up in. NO items were lost or damaged in the move. They came back after the move to unpack and honestly saved me weeks of work. I am astonished at what they completed in just two days. These women are gems! They have such a calm presence, are delightful to chat with, have great attention to detail and are so organized. Tailorly It’s hard to overstate how wonderfully professional, detailed, and responsive the team of Jeanne and Pat are. Let me tell you how I found out about them (hint: Google “Organizers in Oakland!”). I live in Va and was planning to move my elderly parents across country. In short, prior to meeting them, everything that could go wrong with a move went wrong—bait and switch on pricing, terrible packing and negligence which culminated with the previous movers leaving ALL of my parents belongings off the truck, leaving everything on the street and taking off at 6pm in Oakland! After such a horrible experience, I realized that we needed so much more in a move. We needed caring and trusted human being who would be sensitive to my parents moving across country; we needed efficient purging and detailed and labeled packing after seeing broken boxes, etc. This team went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us find and coordinate with a reputable moving company which, with their assistance was able to pack and move the items out of my parents apartment in record time. Tailorly showed up and helped a newly working mom shedd some clutter, in a big way! I love organizing and thought I was an organized person... With a disorganized family. Within 6 hours they cleared my whole lower floor. They presorted and I pointed and with mild assistance things got to a donate, recycle or trash pile. It was my Marie Kondo dream, with more help and less joy inspired froo-froo. If you like point click no nonsense they will rock your world. I'm sure they're more then capable to do that for so many other people too! I already pre-booked the rest of my house to Tailorlly before this review, the same day they came out. ;) Don't wait! I've worked with Jeanne and Pat several times and they are total professionals. In a world where home stagers have very limited options, Tailorly excels at finding design and organizational solutions that work for the specific client and their property. One of my clients, for instance, preferred to have Tailorly consult in a very limited way with the rearranging of existing furnishings. The client preferred to go out and shop for the accessories on her own. Tailorly offered suggestions along the way and helped prepare the home prior to the all important photo shoot prior to listing the home on the market. Yet another client had more need for Tailorly to redesign their furnishings and also assist in the organizing and sorting of 20+ years of personal belongings.
