Our work was done over Zoom with an initial consultation and a walk through of all the spaces. We took measurements together and discussed my goals for organizing each specific area. She sent a detailed document that outlined each space with recommendations for how to maximize storage. “Kelsey worked with me to clear the clutter and organize my guest room closet. Over the years, I had continued to add items in to the closet without removing anything! Needless to say, the closet was unusable for my guests or anyone else. We began by setting the goal that there would be enough space so my guests would have ample space in which to hang clothes and store personal items. “Organized Design Co recently organized our closet that plays a couple important roles: storage for clothes and guest room items, and a functional craft closet. Starting out, this closet was a mess. It was nearly impossible to get clothes out, and even more difficult to find supplies needed for small tasks, (think batteries, markers, glue, etc.). After getting in touch with Mia at ODC and discussing the current issues and our ideal craft closet, the road to an organized, fully usable closet was speedy and smooth. Mia came by after we were done with work and went straight to it, removing all of the items from our disaster closet and grouping and sorting them into bins and onto shelves. In no time (the closet was usable that same night!!), Mia had created a functional space that met all of our storage needs. Mia noticed we had some items that were more difficult to store, like gift wrap and bags, and she suggested organizational items that might help. We settled on wrapping paper holders and a gift bag/paper organizer that mount to the wall to save space and the headache of trying to keep everything upright and tidy. Mia took the time to purchase these items for us, then come back, assemble, and install them. The best part is that even a month after Mia organized our closet, it has stayed that way. There is a space for everything so it is easy to find what you need and put it back in its place when finished. We could not be happier with our organized, functional craft space, and we could not be more impressed by the efficiency, professionalism, and personal attention we got from Mia at ODC.
