I first met her at a open house in Pasadena, CA and was amazed by her presentation. The moment I walked in, she greeted me, had a one sheet about the property, healthy bites and beverages. Not only did she interact with me about my needs as well as the other potential buyers, but she asked very important questions that allowed her to get to know all of our needs. I truly appreciated the 1:1. Though I did not buy that particular property, I have referred countless couples that have bought properties and have committed to only seeking properties via her. I met Lake while exploring open houses in the Pasadena area. New to California at that time but previous homeowners, my husband, teenage son and I were looking for a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home in a nice, well-kept neighborhood with a good school district. Our search spanned Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena and a few other areas. I was with my sister at the time and we walked into what I believed was my dream home. Lake was the realtor handling the open house at this home. Not only did she give a great tour of the property and discuss the neighborhood but she was knowledgeable of the market and simply a pleasure to talk to. She really took time to answer all of my questions as well as address others who visited. When things quieted down, we spoke more in-depth. Although I had met other realtors who were very nice, there was something about Lake that stood out. She really cared. I asked if she would work with my family and me in our search and was thrilled when she agreed. Lake worked very closely with me to narrow down just what we wanted in a home. As a mother, she knew the importance of being in a good school system. She traveled to where I saw listings that appealed to us and provided numerous listings for us to see. She was outstanding in her approach, dotting the "i's" and crossing the "t's." She later connected us with a great mortgage officer after we found the right home. Lake helped me find the perfect house for me. I always wanted a house with the million dollar view and that is very hard to find in LA if you are on a budget. Lake was never trying to sell me on a house, but worked tirelessly to find the place that was exactly right for me. Driving all over LA looking at every place that might have potential. She convinced me that the right path to take was to get a house that needed fixing, as this was the only way to get what I was looking for on my budget. The house we picked showed really poorly. It was full of stuff from the tenants and windows were blocked with cardboard etc. But we decided that it had the potential to be really great. She managed all the difficult negotiations over the place and afterwards helped me with finding the right architect and builder to turn the house I bought into my dream home, going way beyond what you would expect from a realtor. Now I wake up every morning with the view of the Hollywood sign, Griffith observatory and downtown LA.. You can not have anyone better than Lake in your corner when you are looking for that special place you have been dreaming of all your life.
