“We found Green Spaces on Houzz in the fall and contacted them and two others. As soon as we met our designer we knew that they understood what we wanted. They designed a new walkway, front yard planting, and a great backyard retreat. The project was below our budget. The stone mason crews were top notch and very professional. They completed a week ahead of the original wrap up date. Our family loved the space and Christmas and we are very pleased. We look forward to working them in the near future.”

“True Scape Design landscaped four sides of our yard for us. They installed low maintenance perennials, like key Lime Cora Bells, wooly thyme, Japanese holly, slender Hinoki cypress, full moon maple,a Hydrangea, daylily and many more. They took out the grass along our driveway and put in blue, and grey stones of different sizes and worked with the rocks already on property. They created bluestone pathways for us. They installed a Roman paver patio and also graded a hill and installed beautiful risers so we can walk off the new extended composite deck and walk down the risers to a peaceful and beautiful patio. Our experience through all this considerable work was confidence in True Scape Design and the owner Joseph Garel. He takes responsibility for his team. They are friendly, aim to please and do a terrific job in an organized way. They are thorough and take individual responsibility to do an excellent job. Everyone works well together. True Scape Design worked with us on choices and design to get what we wanted. When we did not know right away, we were given lots of time and options to consider, for instance in picking out pavers and type of deck material. We felt they really understood what we wanted. The estimates were accurate and bills accurately itemized. There were so many options for spending less in some areas and more in others. The crew went above and beyond to be thorough, fixing a big dip in the grass in the front yard. They were glad to change a ground cover I did not like. They listened to us. My husband and I are thrilled and enjoying our new deck and patio, front and side yards. We appreciate the professionalism, competence, and integrity of True Scape Design and its owner, Joseph Garel . Lynn and Rick Keat”

“I can’t say enough about George Ortiz’s Caring Landscape Services. My son and daughter-in-law were going to be married and I offered the use of my home for the venue. It would need a lot of sprucing up for the event and I heard about Caring Landscape Services from a friend, so I reached out to George and talked to him about looking at the job. He replied with what was to become a phrase I’d hear over and over from George even though their company was from Washington and my home is in Oregon, “That’s not a problem”. George and his 8-man crew, showed up at my house at 7:00 am, having made the 3 hour drive from the Seattle area to my home in Portland and they got right to work, and after two visits about 8 months apart, my property was transformed into the ‘Wedding Venue’ of my dreams. Their attention to detail and blew me away, they even washed all the windows, inside and out! “Justino and his team did a full remodel of our yard. Justino was a huge help in finalizing the design. He also came up with a number of creative solutions to some of the issues with our property. We had a few challenges that we had to work through. The project was larger than Justino anticipated and it took longer than we thought. We also ended up more over budget than we thought. Overall we are really happy with the way everything turned out. Justino was a great partner and always worked to make us happy. I highly recommend his services.”

“Jacob worked with us on planning our backyard project, and was very patient and professional as we changed our design a few times. Jacob was very helpful, making recommendations based on our budget. The Dreamscapes team installed a garden wall to raise the length of my sloping backyard. The 3 foot high stone wall has some curves and includes stairs making it easier for us to tend to our garden without having to climb the wall. They also installed pavers for a nice addition to our smaller patio, this makes for a nicer foundation when we entertain family and friends. We are extremly happy with our beautiful backyard Oais. We will definately use their services again and highly recommed them.”

As soon as I saw the work he had done, I knew that I wanted him to design a garden for the front of my house in Seattle in the Greenwood neighborhood. Not only do I now have a beautiful garden, but Reese has gone above and beyond the call of duty, so to speak, to be sure that all the plants are healthy AND he has devoted extra hours to explain the watering system to me and be sure that I understand everything. His work is thorough, expert and he is 100% reliable. What more can you ask? Well, he's also an incredibly nice and considerate person!”

“After months of planning we lost our contractor weeks prior to renovating our kitchen and main living space. We had appliances and cabinetry purchased with set delivery dates and were in a panic - walls needed to move and beams needed to go up. Fractal Renovations was recommended as a local company by Houzz. Blake responded to our Houzz inquiry within 1 business day, and was on site reviewing our project within the week. We were impressed at his willingness to the take time to listen to us and comprehend the scope of our project. He was attentive to all our communication both call, text, email throughout our project. Fractal's team of craftsmen were kind and easy to work with. With any old home once you open walls there are hurdles and challenges to work through. We felt that Fractal kept us in the loop, and guided us through our renovation with their expert opinions to help create a complete transformation of our space. Attached are pictures of previous kitchen and completed project. In 14 weeks Fractal completed all demolition, installed a 22 foot beam to span the room (allowing us to remove 3 walls), added a window and exterior door, adjusted/shifted 4 interior door ways, managed all plumbing and electrical, completed all drywall work, painted all interior walls, placed new baseboard throughout the house, and received and assisted with install of appliances. We highly recommend working with Blake and his team.”

“My wife and I wanted to replace our ageing 20 year old cedar deck in our backyard. So we contacted Kevin Monohan, co-owner of Avalon NW Landscaping, and our neighbor up the street. The design effort was truly a collaborative process, which we liked. We met with him 4 or 5 times throughout the process to conceptualize and to come up with a design about the layout, the hardscapes, the plantings, and the timing and execution of the plans. Kevin always encouraged us to give our ideas for the patio. It was always a joy meeting with Kevin. He always considered our ideas and offered his advice on what he thought would be best design for our patio. And he was cognizant of our cost constraints and laid out options for us to consider. Kevin also immediately notified us of additional work that needed to be done that wasn't known in the early planning phases and we were able to make decisions about these changes. Kevin has an excellent combination of skills, both interpersonal and professional. The crew that did the work was also fantastic. The three of them worked diligently for three weeks and each day cleaned up the site meticulously. We were amazed at how proficient Avalon NW Landscaping was at keeping on track and on-budget with our backyard project. When it was all done, we were very pleased with the process and the outcome.
