Auster Miller Roofing constructed the roof on our brand new home in 2016. Unfortunately years later, the ceiling in our master bedroom began to leak. We hired another roofing company to come out and assess the damage. They took videos and pictures of the damage and informed us that the leak was due to a CONSTRUCTION DEFECT by our ORIGINAL ROOFER. I contacted our homebuilder Celebration Homes, who referred me to Auster Miller Roofing and told me to have them resolve the problem. I contacted Auster Miller on several occasions. I never received a return call. I had to fix my roof in order to prevent further damage. I paid $1299 to get my roof fixed, not to mention I have an estimated $10,000 worth of internal damage from AUSTER MILLER'S CONSTRUCTION DEFECT. Finally, I went to their offices and waited until I was able to speak with KEVIN MOSELY in person on March 15, 2022. I showed him a video of the damage. He agreed that the WHOLE IN MY ROOF was due to their NEGLIGENCE. He stated that they would like to see if they can resolve this issue by seeing about getting me reimbursed for the repair and/or getting other contractors to fix the internal damage. On March 25, 2022, I spoke with Kevin Mosely on the phone in which he stated their company REFUSES to FIX THEIR NEGLIGENCE by either reimbursement of my roof repairs or working with other contractors to fix the $10,000 worth of damage. As a mother of three and a first time home buyer, I will need to struggle to pay for the damage that their company has caused. Kevin Mosely attempted to blame other contractors who worked on the house. However, if the damage had to due with anything else another REPUTABLE roofing company would not have been able to fix it. Unfortunately, Kevin Mosely took ownership for the damage and denied Auster Miller's responsibility just 10 days later. It saddens me that this company would leave a first time home buyer to pay THOUSANDS for THEIR FAULTY CONSTRUCTION. IT'S A HOME BUYER'S WORST NIGHTMARE
