About Us

Blair Construction was founded in 1987 with the goal of creating a company with a unique approach to the roofing process. Many roofers treat your home just like every other house. But at Blair we understand that a roof represents important protection for the lives and property it covers. And that the roofing system we install on your home is a big investment that deserves careful attention to every detail. We take the same approach on every home improvement project we take on. As delighted roofing customers asked us to return to complete additional work on their homes, Blair Construction gradually expanded to incorporate a broad array of services. And our staff grew as well, into the experienced, customer-oriented team of professionals we have now.

Mr. Smith, the project manager, was exceptional and the work performed by Blair Construction's team exceeded our expectations. The work was completed ahead of schedule, the lines of communication were always open and everyone was professional and courteous. Very professional crews and on time scheduling. I have used this contractor for 4 separate jobs. Roofing and window replacements all of which where completed on time and the cost was very reasonable comparted to other contractors. I recommend contacting this company for your repair or replacement projects.

Over the last 15 years of current home ownership, finding a “flat roof” specialist has been a challenge. Blair Construction was recommended by the Roof Center in Annapolis, MD and I could not be more happy with their work. I used Blair Construction to install TPO membrane roofing on 2 roof sections. The jobs were completed on time with minimal disruption and their crews were respectful of my property.

Blair Construction Company had two workers by the name of Justin and Carl come to my home and build new steps and rails on the front of my house. Both workers did an awesome job, clean up after they finished the work, was very polite and I would highly recommend this company to other people..

Blair did a complete tear-down and replacement of our very large and complicated roof. It is a 12/12 pitch, and included a side entry garage and six dormers. In addition, they also re-roofed our matching shed. Their bid was very reasonable, based on the amount of material and labor involved. They got the job done on time, and did an excellent job of maintaining the site and doing post-work clean-up. Also, since they are a GAF-certified roofer, we were able to qualify for a lifetime warranty, which is transferable to the future owners when we eventually sell the property. Our next door neighbors were so impressed with the work Blair did, they hired them to replace their roof a few weeks after ours was completed. All in all, an excellent experience.

I hated the kitchen in my house. Got 4 different bids/plans from different companies (One of which forgot to include space for a refrigerator in the kitchen!). John from Blair Construction was the only one to truly listen to what I needed to have in my kitchen first, and then work with me as to what I could add of my "wants" within my budget. They did not start construction of my kitchen until they had everything in the warehouse, and from demo of two rooms (We switched the dining room & kitchen), down to subfloor and studs, to kitchen 98% done was 2.5 weeks. We also had them rerun ductwork and install a new hot water heater. There was only one minor glitch, and it was handled professionally and with speed. I have since hired them to redo a bathroom in my home and will be contacting them within the next month to redo another. I have also had two friends use them for kitchen remodels and they have been completely impressed as well. The first pic is my old kitchen, the next 3 are the new Blair kitchen.

Our experience with Blair Construction was the replacment of our roof shingles. The process started with some research which lead to the decision that we only wanted to deal with a certified roofing system and contractor. A call to Blair Construction resulted in a quick response and visit by Randy Savage. Randy is extremely knowledgable, answered all of our questions and concerns and provided many samples for us to choose the color and specifications. Blair Construction's quote was competative, everything spelled out and presented well by Randy. The installation was smooth, experienced efficient crews, all shrubs protected, all nails picked up and completed in a timely manner. Each day a Blair supervisor or Randy came by to check on the installation and upon completion Blair Construction provided excellent follow up. The new roof system changed the apperance of our home and now three years later we still we still can't get over the difference it has made! Bill & Judy Ullrich, Annapolis

Commented: Fiberon composite decking...is it longer lasting than wood?Fiberon is the much better option especially near the water. With wood you need to keep treating it with a water repellent or exterior deck paint of some sort. So there would be less maintenance with ...
