I highly recommend Interstate Roofing for your roofing needs. A severe hailstorm hit our neighborhood while we were out of town, and we didn’t know about it. An Interstate rep knocked on our door, explained about the hailstorm, and asked if we wanted our roof inspected. Chris Naslund, our Project Manager, showed us pictures of the extensive damage, and recommended a new roof. He handled all aspects of the project flawlessly, from the inception to the final payment. He worked with the insurance company’s inspector to make sure that all the property damage was identified. When it was time to make the claim, I called Nationwide, our insurance company, identified myself and the property, and placed the phone on “speaker.” Chris handled all the dealings with the claims adjuster. I gave permission for him to deal subsequently with the adjuster, and I never heard from her again. Our home is 2400 square feet, and the roof went on in one day, approximately two weeks after the claim was accepted. Chris managed the entire job. It was a flawless operation. Chris carefully explained how the depreciation worked, and the final payment included everything that he explained. Three weeks after our roof was completed, other companies are finally getting around to roofing our neighbors’ homes. From prior experience I had dreaded the hassle of working with a claim adjuster, but Chris handled everything perfectly.

I began the process with Kristian Reynolds , a representative of Interstate, to have my hail damaged roof repaired on October 7th, 2019. I was told it would be 30-45 days to have the build completed. Then began the gaps in communication. Spotty texts and emails largely ignored previous solutions given by my county to address some of the fringe issues which eventually “caused” 17 months of delays. Despite the insurance having approved the work to be done in Oct. ‘19, it was dragged and dragged for months until almost November 2020, when Interstate came back with an estimate that was TRIPLE that of the original. As of December 2020, with no work done and an absolute nightmare process in dealing with their endless delays and gaps in communication, as well as taking a deposit which should have never been taken, my deposit was returned in full. Kristian was dismissive, and when my concerns intensified, would become defensive in response to my concerns very clear, as well as ignored any responsibility for the delays. As a matter of fact, the only person who I found to be even remotely helpful was Tom, who helped to return my deposit. The deposit was “lost” in the mail, and despite having my address clearly displayed on the demand letter requesting my deposit be returned, they still managed to send the check to the wrong address initially. While I understand my experience may be unique, I cannot, in good faith, recommend this company to anyone. Absolutely unprofessional, across the board.

The work was done quickly and very professionally. They're easy to contact and are very friendly. The only thing keeping this rating a 5-star is that I requested a spring roof installation and they arrived unannounced in Nov with everything. Although the timing wasn't what I requested the roof is done and appears to be fine. The few days of unseasonably warm weather helped that.
