Our gable roof had dormers and valleys that were always trouble. We’d patched leaks over the years, but things worsened last year. Ja-Mar Roofing came in for the roof replacement. They tore everything down, added new decking in bad areas, and installed asphalt shingles with better flashing in all the tricky spots. The dormers are sealed perfectly now, and the valleys no longer collect water. Their team worked around our landscaping and cleaned up every day. I was impressed by their care for the entire structure—it wasn’t just about putting on shingles. The roof finally feels built to last.

Today I met with a gentleman named Jeff Huggins. He is the one that was sent out to inspect a roof that we were trying to determine how much damage there is, and if we could move forward with filing a claim with insurance, or if it would be best to do any repair out of pocket. Jeff accessed the roof and inspected it thoroughly. Once he gathered all of the information he needed, he made the recommendation that he thought was best. He certainly was honest, kind and direct. He provided the information we needed in order to proceed the best way for the circumstances we have. Working as a Realtor, I have called JaMar for clients that I've worked with in the past, and was very happy, but this time was for a family friend of ours, and once again we were not disappointed. I'll continue to call Ja-Mar Roofing in the future, and recommend this place to anyone I know that needs help. We had a great experience in dealing with our roofing representative, Ken Kelly and Ja Mar sheet metal roofing company in general. Our representative Ken Kelly was honest and open with us once we gave him all the details on what we were shopping for. It took us several meetings with Ken and in each meeting Ken Kelly brought us reading material and pamphlets to read and view the different kind of Ja Mar roofing products. Ken walked us through and discussed with us the entire process that would take place from the start to the end of the roofing installation until we finalized the deal. Thank You Ken for being patient with us. On the day of, the crew showed up at 6:30am as promised. They went at it hard core and non stop by 7am and by 11am the roofing installation was done and completed. The crew left the yard in the same condition it was when they first arrived. Our roofing representative Ken Kelly showed up at the completion of the roofing installation to make sure we were satisfied with their work. What a Guy!! I hired this company to replace my roof after a hail storm totally damaged the roof on my one year old home. Ron timely responded to my request for an estimate, did the inspection and thoroughly explained the products they used and what would be needed for my home. He was very knowledgeable, kind, and professional and patiently answered all my questions. I have not had any issues since it was replaced and feel like I received a quality job with a quality product. I would definitely use them again.

JA MAR has done two jobs for me and their work is excellent. One job was a complete new roof. Their advice was helpful in deciding what type of roof to install, and they did the work quickly and well. The other job was small, but they detected where the leaks were and fixed them for a very reasonable price.

I have had two excellent experiences with Ja-Mar roofing. One was for installation of a solar fan to help vent our attic. While they were up there they did an inspection and made a small repair around a vent pipe that was poorly sealed. I didn’t even know about it. February 2012. Second time they came because I had a leak from where the previous owners had installed a satellite dish. They promptly responded and everything was fixed before I had ceiling damage. Fall 2016 When it is time to have my roof replaced I will not hesitate to call Ja-Mar. They are easy to work with and always cleanup after the job.

Ja-Mar did an excellent re-roof for us on a rental property. The tenants worked difficult schedules and Ja-Mar was thoughtful and considerate to our renters. Their workmanship is outstanding and they were reasonably priced. The crew cleaned up the area every evening when finished for the day and finished the project on time and in budget. We used JaMar roofing to replace our 2016 hail damaged roof. Stace the sales person was excellent at fullfilling our expectations. We chose an impactact resistant shingle, hoping to avoid extensive damage in the future.

This is the most dishonest and unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. They signed a contract a specific amount and waited until the day the contract was started to request an adjustment on items that were already on the contracted amount.. They overcharged the insurance company and got away with it..By completion the cost almost doubled. They also hired too many subs.. Took over a month for a 1 wk job. STAY Away from this company.

I have a tile roof and it developed a leak. Ja-Mar responded to my request for help and identified the problem and quickly resolved the problem. Prior to calling Ja-mar other roofing companies that were called to resolve the problem were singularly focused on adding cost to the project even to the extent of replacing the entire roof. Ja-mar was cost conscientious saving me money, I would strongly recommend them for roofing work.

OK let’s just say starting out fine, the contract manager that I started out with they switched to someone else and from that point on things just went downhill I was having my roof replaced due to hail storm and having new gutters put on one window replaced and I never knew when they were coming out showed up one day the roofers were here two guys they didn’t hardly speak any English they left a mess in my yard they didn’t take down the gutters when they took down the gutters they left them in the yard didn’t even haul them away left the downspouts up, tried to contact the contract manager no response for days. the work was good but not everything got done. I was not pleased with their performance or their notification of when people would come out Couple of times I had to take off from my job without notice because someone was coming to the house unexpectedly, very unprofessional. I could say more but not worth the time.

Really should have been 2 stars, but the work done was OK. I personally had 4 roofs done and recommended them to 10 others. Since I sell real estate I am particular about who I recommend to my clients. Overall everyone seemed to be satisfied with the work done. This is the good stuff. Now the bad stuff. Follow up is poor, I had issues with my personal home and it took several calls to get a return call from a superintend. I was promised a check of part of the roof that looked to be an issue. One year later I am still waiting. I later had some work done at my house and it required a hole to be cut in the roof. I requested that JaMar just give it a look see to determine if it was done properly. I was promised a visit, but am still waiting It seems that the work is quick and done right; follow up is poor to nonexistent.

Denny was the professional that came out promptly gave a quote and included many pictures detailing the damage that was the cause of the problem. Contract for Work to be performed was sent along and signed via digital signature via email. Work was promptly performed as agreed. Honesty and reputation are so important in the roofing industry. And Ja-mar roofing "nails" it. After buying a home with a 1 year old roof we thought we were in the clear. Sure there were a couple watermarks on the ceiling - hey I'll just call the company that put the new roof on for the previous owners. Guess what? They're outta business! I guess that happens a lot in this industry. Not with Ja- mar- they've been around since before microwave ovens! These guys are solid! Bill came out looked at our roof and gave a us quote. Then Doyle -shows up (should have been wearing a cape- because he was so awesome) and makes the repairs. All this excellent service and work for such a fair price! Ja-Mar Exteriors worked with us in the summer of this year. They were very knowledgeable and helped us give us suggestions along the way. I work for a property management company in Austin and Ja Mar is my go to roofer. They are incredibly responsive and do great work. I have used them to handle minor repairs as well as full roof replacements. They have been so helpful when we have to submit insurance claims and really help made the process as seamless as possible. I have worked with several roofers in Austin and Ja Mar has by far been my favorite.

We had windows installed. The crew was fast and efficient. Their work was excellent. The solar windows really cut down on the heat build up in our house. My only complaint was with the clean up, I felt they could have done a little bit better. I had a flat tire from a left over nail. I bought a large magnet and "swept" our driveway and yard afterwards and collected a pound of metal screws, nails and debris.
