“We worked with Garden Gate on two major yard renovation projects, in summer 2008 and fall 2010. From concept to completion, the entire team and experience, led by designer Cathy Carr, was first rate. I would describe us as "involved" clients and our input and feedback was welcomed throughout--including thoughtful understanding of parts of the project we wished to plant ourselves. The 2010 project involved many moving parts, including removal of existing concrete/asphalt driveway, stormwater flooding mitigation, installation of flagstone patio, water feature, stone steps and driveway pavers, as well as plant installation. When the following spring thaw revealed water seepage issues, they returned without hesitation to reroute drainage and solve the problem. The projects have transformed our outdoor living space and bring us great joy as we spend lots of time outside with family and friends.”

He had to work with the county for rebates they were offering. He made that easy. When it turned into more work than was anticipated, he did not come back wanting to raise the price. On the other jobs he was very helpful offering ideas on how to achive what I needed. They always arrived on time and did what they promised. His workers are always friendly. “Rob and his crew did an excellent job revitalizing our backyard with new sod after a large tree fell in a recent storm and caused extensive damage in our backyard. Rob met with me personally to review what we wanted and turned around a quick estimate that he was able to work with me on based on our budget. Rob's Project Manager, Mike, did a great job of getting all the work done in a day while being sensitive to my wife at home on maternity leave with an infant. Rob talked to me after the sod install was complete to make sure everything was completed to satisfaction and give me sod care and watering instructions. I can say that Lenhoff's Landscaping did a better job that we could have anticipated, and they did a great job of cleaning up afterwards to make it seem like they were never there and we've had a beautiful lawn all along! This was likely a small job for their company, but they certainly made it seem like an important job nonetheless. Thank you!”

“We contracted with The Landscape Design Center to provide a consultation and subsequent installation of a full landscape lighting update. Although we already had landscape lighting in place for a number of years, as the trees and shrubs have grown we were feeling like the existing lighting did not accentuate the natural beauty of the property nor did it provide adequate path lighting on parts of the property. Our first step was to meet with a Landscape Designer from the Landscape Design Center. She was very knowledgeable with great and creative ideas..... Exactly what we needed. She not only designed the project but also managed the project from start to finish. She also coordinated with our electrician to ensure proper coordination with out Lutron System. In all aspects, she was outstanding! The installation itself was also outstanding. This was a complete makeover. So we expected the lawn and planting beds may be pretty torn up when the project was complete. We were surprised when that was not the case at all. All of the installation was done in a professional and clean manner. You can barely tell that we had any work done at all. The end result is amazing. The new lighting brings out all the best in the property. We can't wait until warmer weather when we spend more time outdoors and really get to enjoy it even more.”
