“Vital Habitats completed a thorough renovation of our home that included new siding, new windows and the addition of a master bathroom. I would say that the biggest thing that separated the experience from others we have worked with was their professionalism and attention to detail. Everything was laid out in easy to understand terms and every statement was thorough, without being labyrinthian. It felt like we were dealing with business professionals who happened to be our GC’s, rather than GC’s trying to sound professional. Any time we asked for more color about a particular choice, we were given a full answer that did not simply represent a push to the most expensive options. Everything went swimmingly and according to initial plans and estimates. At no point did we experience the famed Hamptons lament of ‘where’s our contractor?’ Especially towards the end of the job, when we needed help with documentation and C of O issues, they were responsive. We love our new house and enthusiastically endorse Vital Habitats.”

“Have used Arch for several projects over the years -- a new deck with screened porch, two complete bathroom remodels, and in fall 2018 for a complete new kitchen job. Arch (Darius) is very attentive to the customer, eager to please, totally honest, and very reliable. All work was done to a high standard and to our complete satisfaction at a price we considered very fair, based on detailed estimates. We worked closely with Arch in the design process and were able to select and buy most of the materials (tile, appliances, etc.) ourselves, saving some money in the process. For the kitchen project Arch provided numerous 3-D renderings until we were both sure we had designed exactly what we wanted. The project was done on time, and the clean-up was excellent' all final "punch list" items were addressed very promptly. Arch provided extensive photo reports on the project and came back to us with questions and to check details as well as propose solutions when unexpected issues surfaced after demolition (as they always will!).. the photo reports also allowed us to make comments or ask questions along the way. We were thus able to supervise construction from a distance and yet feel confident it was going well. When we are ready for our next job we will use them again!”
