Becky captured our vision for a kitchen remodel and family room addition. She was involved in all aspects of the job: design, selection of materials, and contractors. She was always available to answer questions and troubleshoot decisions. We can truly say we enjoyed each step of the remodel process, and love our beautiful new kitchen and family room. We have Becky to thank. She is a professional we would recommend to anyone considering a remodel.

Jeanne Griggs, of JG Designs is a superb design professional. She works with her clients, taking into consideration not only her aesthetic, but theirs as well. In other works, you won't get a "cookie cutter" look from this designer. I highly recommend her.

Design and execution of remodel that opened kitchen and separate dining room into large open kitchen/dining area. At design level worked well with owners to develop plan. Very knowledgeable regarding materials, as well as up to challenges presented by some aspects of original design, such as ceiling heat that constrained lighting choices. Design team covered range of expertise necessary for the job. Excellent management of the building phase. Workers well coordinated to keep job moving forward. Adhered closely to time line and budget.

G. Christianson Construction both designed and built a workshop on the back of my home. The goal was to make it look like it was part of the existing home and create usable space. Carl and his crew were a pleasure to work with. They were very clean, respectful. Carl was quick to respond via email or phone. Those who come see what was done are impressed with the workmanship and the usability of the work space. We love it and use it every day! I strongly recommend G. Christianson Construction. I would use their services again.

Matt was part of the team from Rupp Family Builders who we contracted with to complete a remodel and addition to our home in 2015. Matt was the project manager and designer for the project. We had a small (925 sq ft) 1920’s bungalow that we wanted to increase in size. Matt designed a project that would double the size of the home. We added a family room downstairs and a master bedroom, full bathroom, and walk-in closet upstairs. We also slightly enlarged the downstairs bedroom. We only gave Matt some general ideas and “must-haves”: increase the size of the house and keep the 1920’s character of the home. We wanted the design to make it look like “one house” not an old part and a new part. Matt took our general ideas and drew up some excellent, creative plans. We were kept informed throughout the entire process. When the estimated costs exceeded our bottom line limit, he reworked the plans to stay within budget but also kept the primary design in tact. We were very impressed with Matt’s willingness to listen, his keen attention to detail, and his emphasis on getting everything perfect. He was always open to our suggestions, and clearly and professionally explained why something wouldn’t work if we were “off base” with what we asked for. Some of the creative design ideas that Matt suggested were the creation of a “reading nook” in one corner of the family room where extra structural supports were needed. This turned “dead space” into a comfortable, favorite resting spot with built-in bench seating. He also designed unique diamond windows in the master bedroom, a creative sitting spot half-way up the new stairway, skylights in the new bathroom and walk-in closet, and a creative design to enlarge the downstairs bedroom while still saving half of the existing utility room by stacking our washer & dryer to save space. I would not hesitate to have Matt work on other home projects. Perfection, attention to detail, pleasing the homeowner, flexibility, professionalism, easy-going personality are all skills and qualities that would define Matt and his work.

Richard and his staff were a pleasure to deal with. He was able, after some mild beatings, to assimilate our ideas and add his own to create a very useful amalgam. We still enjoy his input and appreciation of space. Our error was failing to hire him to supervise construction, in addition to designing the building.

Three years after we finished our kitchen remodel my husband and I still are so happy with the way our kitchen looks and functions. Karla gets much credit for helping us create a beautiful kitchen in a small space. She was extremely patient working with a client that had so many ideas while trying to keep us on budget. Not only is Karla an interior designer but she also has a contractor's license and that can really come in handy when dealing with tearing down a wall or reworking electrical outlets. Karla was also really easy to work with and we shared plenty of laughs
