He reworked part of a wall to ensure the corner would be square for the tiles. Once the whole project was prepped right, he started tiling meticulously. The marble we picked added thickness to the backsplash behing the sink, Which required to modify some plumbing. Dan's got a plumber on the job within an hour and all was right without delay. We truly enjoy our new checkered backsplashes, our kitchen is like new. Thank you Dan, we'll call you again when we get to remodel the bathrooms.”

“We hired CMG after our original countertop installer contractor got COVID. We we're in a bind and on a short time table with our remodel. I called CMG and they were able to give me an estimate after sending them our measurements. They came out the next morning to create a template and we're insanely flexible and awesome when it came to picking up our slab from our first contractor. “The most professional contractor we've ever worked with. (1) They have a great website that shows and explains every step of the selection, measuring, manufacturing, and installation process, including educational videos. (2) The owner, Steven Nenzel was very helpful in the design process by explaining advantages and disadvantages of various stone, colors, and prices. (3) Steven gave us a printout for our job that listed both the details and total cost of the project for each different type of stone. That allowed us to make 'apples to apples' comparisons, all without worrying about hidden charges later in the process. (4) After we made our decision on a honed Marble Quartzite, Randy came out to or home and used a state-of-the-art measurement system that created a precisely detailed database of our kitchen layout, including variations in the walls. (5) The next amazing step was receiving an email that included two 'photographs' showing how the slabs that we selected would be cut and put together for the finished counter top. This allowed us to select which patterning we preferred. As the slabs of marble we had selected had large veins running through them, how the veins were placed was very important. For the 21' long counter with the waterfall, they created two book-matches for the top and also book-matched the waterfall to the top. We selected the design that highlighted the largest veins book-matching in the most open area of the counter top. We then sent our selection back via email. (6) A week after measuring, the installation team arrived and did a perfect job of setting the counter tops. The use of their computer generated measuring system at manufacturing made everything fit precisely. During installation, they also sealed the counter tops to the cabinets with caulk which was nice. We could not be happier with the results of our interactions with Rock It Surfaces. The counter tops are gorgeous and their installation was perfect. Every time someone walks into our kitchen and sees the 21' long counter top transition into the waterfall on the end with a perfect book-matched corner, they say they can't believe how great it looks. We then realize how fortunate we were to have selected a great company to do the job.”
