“We went with Ariel for our kitchen/great room remodel after getting a few quotes and are very happy with the end result. Ariel wasn’t necessarily the cheapest quote we received of the 4 contractors, but he was so great at communicating, following up, and providing a really comprehensive quote/price that we decided to go with him (and he was competitive within the same ballpark price as the others). We originally engaged with Ariel early 2020 but then the pandemic hit and we put our project on hold for a few months. We decided to really kickoff our project in August 2020 and after a few months delay getting permits, we were ready to begin construction after Thanksgiving (end of November). While our kitchen remodel was supposed to take 6–8 weeks, in the end it did take 14 weeks, but I wouldn’t credit the extended timeline to Ariel’s team as we ran into delays with the city requesting we move the sewer line and then the next available inspection appointment not being until 2 weeks later. Overall we’re very happy with how our kitchen came out. Ariel and his team met with us multiple times before starting construction to talk through our plans and give pointers on suggested changes. When we were in the middle of construction he was clear with what steps we needed to do and when (i.e., order cabinets, countertops, and appliances, and finalize finishes, etc.) and had great suggestions for places to shop for all of this where he had his contractors discount at. His team was courteous, clean, on time, and meticulous. Ariel kept us in the loop throughout the project and ensured we weren’t surprised at any point in it. We felt he was proactive in knowing what the full scope of work was and so we didn’t need to spend additional money beyond what was initially bid (except we did pay more for extras like getting the entire houses old insulation vacuumed and replaced). None of the ‘nickel and dime’ tactics that I hear complaints about in other construction projects where they give you a low quote but everything is an additional cost. The scope of our project included removing the old kitchen and walls, installing a ≈20’ beam to open the kitchen to the living room, adding a kitchen island, weaving in new hardwood flooring to match the living room and refinishing all, new cabinets, appliances, countertops, tile, electrical, plumbing, drywall, insulation, paint, and finish a laundry space. The team made sure everything was done exactly as we wanted and before finishing went through the space with a fine-tooth comb to ensure everything was perfect. Overall really happy with Ariel and his team and would definitely recommend them as well as use them again for future projects.”

“Lisa Peterson, of Premier Kitchens, designed the kitchen and master bathroom cabinets for an Eichler home I purchased last December and have been remodeling during this past year. She has been a pleasure to work with, from the beginning throughout the whole project. She is an excellent designer and had wonderful ideas, but also listened to my ideas and worked with me to get the kitchen I wanted. The ordering process was easy and painless and all the cabinets arrived on the date promised. Right after the cabinets were ordered, she came out and met with the contractor and foreman on the job, to go through the plans and let them know she would be available for any questions at any time. She also brought out just prior to delivery of the cabinets a detailed set of plans showing where each piece would go, marked by a number that corresponded to each piece of the cabinet. The carpenter who installed the cabinets (who is very experienced and an excellent craftsman) said he had never seen anyone do that before, and that it was very helpful. I cannot recommend Lisa, and Premier Kitchens, highly enough.”

“Custom Kitchens handled the kitchen upgrade we had planned before my husband died. The results are more than satisfactory. We replaced the countertops, cooktop, microwave and dishwasher and painted the cabinets a new color, while at the same time refinishing the wood floor, replacing the tile in the entryway, powder room and sunroom, and painting the powder room a different color (removing wallpaper in order to do so). The contract was clearly presented and progress payments noted in advance. They promised me this would all be done in the space of two months, and the project finished right on time. Their subcontractors were skilled, punctual, tidy and respectful of my space. They also tasked someone to help me move things out of the old kitchen and then back into the new one, which was an added benefit, as was the assistance of their on-staff design professional. Though expensive, it was worth it. The project was trouble-free, which was and is important to me. I'm very pleased with the results and would recommend Custom Kitchens to anyone considering a remodel.”

“I was as satisfied as can be with my new kitchen. Betty helped me with my design and helped me pick out tile and my mural. The workers were there early every day and cleaned up at the end of the day. it took the amount of time they said it would. it was a really easeful renovation, with Betty showing me a countertop and cabinets and I loved it all. I can't say enough good things about this company.”

“Cannot believe the fantastic improvement and enjoyment now in my kitchen, since Ray as project manager, and the crew remodeled our 1960's era kitchen. From the inception that was planned promise of quality job activities and personnel, Green Bay Remodeling provided a 3 week experience with reliable, pleasant and knowledgeable employees and materials, then follow-through with inspectors and permits. If something different was required, our Project Manager, made certain that everything was accomplished according to our needs, construction timeline, and desires. We got to choose our cabinets, sink/faucet and tile flooring, and most of all, the absolutely gorgeous granite for the counters. I had wanted flowing pattern of stone, and had to wait until it was delivered, to see that it was indeed everything I had wanted, even more, considering the occasional small clusters of raspberry-colored crystals flowing in the rivers of minerals. Would recommend the company.”

“Hiring Wayne Christian to do our kitchen remodel was the absolute best decision we made in the entire project. We had to bury a 17 foot steel I-beam in the ceiling to hold up the 2nd story of our house in order to remove a wall that opened up our space. There were many obstacles in doing this, including routing of electrical, plumbing vents, and venting of our exhaust hood to the outside. Wayne always had a solution and discussed options with us. Despite the additional time involved to do some of this, he was extremely fair with change orders and we never felt "nickeled and dimed." He worked very well with other parties including the kitchen designer, the cabinet installer, and the granite fabricator/installer so that led to a minimum of problems during the job. He works alone (although sometimes with his son Andrew in the summer) so if you are looking for the fastest job, look elsewhere. But he was diligent in keeping our job moving forward with very few days that he had to go to another client/project. Wayne is a terrific person, very creative, very meticulous, and always conscious of minimizing the disruption on us. We feel he has become a friend, plus someone we would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. All-in-all, it was the best experience we've ever had with a remodeling contractor. Highly recommended! We couldn't have been more pleased with the experience with Wayne and the outcome of our beautiful kitchen. Bill and Ginger Wadsworth”
