“Had 2 bathrooms gutted and redone. The finished product looks great. John and NB were great communicators, was always available by text. The subs were talented, great plumber and tiler. Took longer, but some of that was me with change orders. Made sure through the entire project we always had in inside toilet. Bid came in at the middle, still not cheap but the end result was worth it.”

“Great experience, high value, very reliable and best crew we ever worked with. Mayer’s construction did a home remodeling for us during the last 6 months. It has been a big home remodel for us that took design and build as well. After months spending finding the right company for us, we have choose to work with Mike & Nathan Mayer from Mayer’s construction. A week after finalizing contract we started working with Su & Luis both company’s architect and engineer. We worked on the new plans we agreed and wanted at first and started to have architect drawings ready, when we got into engineering process, both Mayer’s construction and us didn’t know we were suppose to redone so much of the existing footings and reinforce of additional walls as 20 years ago we did a 2nd story addition that was probably made poorly and unprofessional. They were extremely kind and helpful and kept the price as we agreed on and didn’t changed a thing. The plan process and measurements took about a month or so, and finally we were able to submit the plans to the city of San Jose. After getting the permits done and job card set ( overall 5 months of waiting / SJ is a pretty busy city) we got into work schedule and been ready to move out as the entire home going to be demolished. Mike was very organized both managing and scheduling the team, rough materials arrivals, and to us to be fully briefed with details and what we need and when. The process of work was great and on timeline , city did changed a lot during this time period with their inspection delays but it didn’t interrupt with our schedule or timeline due to great management ahead. We just finished our work and we absolutely in love with our new home! New flooring throughout, new kitchen, new bathrooms, complete open floor plan, new stair case, new rooms reconfigured, new paint, new texture, new windows and sliding doors throughout, all new plumbing and electrical. A brand new and beautiful home we got thanks to Mayer’s construction and the team, Mike, Nathan, Raul, Jose and many more who had a added value and did this work absolute best.”

“JPM Construction, the Mills Brothers, Matt and John are a very hard working duo. Our complete demo and renovation of our apartment in Pacific Heights, San Francisco was no easy job. Their crew worked diligently in a 12 story steel and concrete tower with only two elevators for all of the demo and new materials. They abided by all of the building rules, various San Francisco permits and completed our project on time. They began the demolition on April 15th and they completed the renovation by July 15th. There was not one surface in this apartment that they did not replace other than the window frames which had to stay although some of the glass was replaced. Their tile work is terrific and the various subs they use are high quality. Our designer Vincent Léger of EAG Studios was the design architect/consultant and the Mills Brothers executed Vin's design elements beautifully.”

“I was looking for a company to remodel my mom's property in alameda. I heard about this company from a friend and I decided to give it a shot . My mom is 75 years old and not able to communicate so I came to help her. Initially, we wanted to remodel our kitchen but decided to extend our kitchen and dinning room by breaking the wall that divided it. Maor the owner had a lot of layout options to choose from. He is very knowledgeable about design, and offered other possibilities. He also explain the different price between each option . We decided move forward with the build out and started the work on feb 14th. It took him 6 weeks to finish the project. My conclusion: He was almost every day supervise the different crews. Easy to communicate with. He is very pleasant person, he alway find a solution to any request we had. The crew was very professional and pass all inspection the first time . Every day they clean my house and moved their equipment on the side of the house . They didn't work on weekends for our request. He helped us choose all the fixtures from different supplier. Most of the guys speak English and very respectful to both my mom and I. The prices was fair for the quality of the job. The quality of his work is very high and the finish was super. Now we are thinking about doing the 2 bathroom and other area of the house. He will definitely be the contractor I choose . “Michael Chau from MSJ Construction is our general contractor. We are in the foundation stage of our new construction project in Palo Alto, CA. Michael submitted a detailed, competitive bid and had solid references. We loved his prior experience as a builder for his own state of the art mixed-use property and his contemporary design sensibilities. He attends seminars on new building technologies and is open to constant learning. He is also flexible and willing to try new materials and methods to help us realize our architect's and our vision. For e.g. Michael is currently looking for ways to support us on our desire to use the Tesla solar-roof for our project, despite the uncertainty surrounding its first availability. He is creatively thinking ahead to provide schedule flexibility for the Tesla solar-roof via an economical interim roofing option so other project tasks won't be held-up due to lack of weatherproofing. “After receiving bids from and interviewing several contractors, we selected Podesta to do a top to bottom remodel of a Queen Anne house built in 1900. We had seen their work, appreciated their attention to detail, and knew they could handle a big job. We were not disappointed. Though the job took 3 months longer than first anticipated, we had made sensible and needed changes to the plans all during construction. Communication, both with us and with the architect, was very good throughout the construction. The site was kept very clean and any issues raised by neighbors during the construction were dealt with quickly and respectfully.
