We felt that their landscape designers were very current and had a way of listening and interpreting a very botanically uneducated clients wishes! They married our newly remodeled home with our existing pool as if it had always been built this way. “Iris has been the landscaping professional for both a NY city balcony and an East End home. The balcony is challenging, along the Hudson so very strong winds, and home has a lot of different shading issues to deal with. Iris has been the key to making this all work. First, very thoughtful and knowledgeable on the initial design. Knows her plants and has a good vision of where to go. Second, excellent on execution. Shows up when she says, gets the work done in a timely way, and leaves the place looking great. She is always accessible on email and phone, comes when needed, and has a deep bench of folks she works with. Third, great pride in her work. Comes by outside of necessary appointments to check up on the plantings, and has a critical eye so if something is not right she stays on top of it. For us, landscaping is very important and we spend a lot of time and resources on it, and Iris is a great quarterback for what we do. The forms asks for a project date, but after initially getting to know Iris (and replacing another landscaper with her), we have had her give us seasonal contracts for 2012, 2013, and again will in 2014.”
