“I was looking for a Landscape Architect to help me out with the design and definitions of several different aspects related to a single family home such as Septic system location, well location, house location, exterior areas, drainage, plant choices, etc. I am in the process of building a house and I wanted a person that had more experience in all of these aspects and Ruth definitely got knowledge, passion and patience all of the three are very valuable (at least to me) . During my search I was impressed with Ruth resume and decided to contact her. She is very professional and responsive and has a very vast knowledge of trees and different aspects that need to be considered to make an outdoor environment to be useful, practical end elegant; so far I am very happy and I will continue to work with her until we finish the job. “I remain awed by Justin's talent, creativity, and respect -- both for the environment and for my aesthetic. He created the landscaping, both for our new pool and for the rest of our property. We live on the edge of a nature preserve; deer, bear, turkeys, herons, owls, hawks and all sorts of other wonderful creatures regularly pass by our home. Justin understood that I wanted our home and our screened in pool to be an extension of the woods that border us on three sides, while also having a feeling of exotic oasis. The pool, which is designed to emulate a pond looked fine, but Justin made it soar. He completed a picture which our pool designer couldn't fathom, and his work is the only thing on our property that has gone beyond my expectations and vision. Unusual touches, like palms growing at a diagonal to provide shade over the water, shrubs with purple leaves that catch the eye without seeming out of place, and ivy growing over boulders and into the pool, make us feel like we are in the middle of a rainforest. And he has honored my concerns about not using invasive plants or harmful chemicals that could damage the nature preserve and the animals that live there. When people come to our home, they appreciate its combination of elegance and coziness, but when they see Justin's work, they just keep saying, "Wow!" It is my pleasure to tell them who is responsible. He deserves the accolades.”
