“Highlands Home Services leader Shelby Baird did an excellent job on our bathroom project. The cost was on par with other quotes we received. Quality of work is outstanding. Shelby was always sure to maintain a clean workspace and keep our house free of debris during our renovation. Our project involved remodeling a bathroom in our house built in 1970. There were several challenges Shelby uncovered and overcame. Our project involved taking the bathroom walls, floor, and ceiling down to the studs., Shelby reworked plumbing, rerouted and modified electric, removed a very heavy bathtub, installed floor and wall tile, installed a new toilet, shower, and vanity. He painted walls, installed shower doors, put in all new plumbing and light fixtures, and all associated wooden trim. Shelby has a very broad skillset and was able to work through any problem he encountered. Additionally, Shelby is very polite and was respectful of our home. We would highly recommend Highlands Home Services for any type of renovation work needed in your home. The quality of Shelby's work is second to none.”

“Brian's crew is top notch. Love my remodeled master bath room! They suggested using stacked stone around the fireplace and a barn door, where there had been no privacy in the bath previously. This absolutely makes the master bedroom/bath an oasis! They were very attentive to my suggestions and choices. They are extremely neat and I didn't even know they had been in the house at the end of the day, they cleaned up very thoroughly at the end of each day.”

“Hired JD and his company to extend our deck, reinforce as needed and to install a glass panel in the middle of the deck railing to add some pop and allow a view of our pond. JD and his crew did an amazing job - they evaluated and reinforced the structure supporting deck (correcting many mistakes by the original builder); extended/rebuilt the deck itself (I know it is small but ALL the nails lines up straight); installed the deck rail and installed the reinforced, tempured glass section. They also stained the deck. They showed up on time every day on time, worked a full day, kept the work site clean and tidy - they also listened to my concerns about a nearby tree and wisteria - they took great care to keep both unharmed by the reconstruction. They offered many different options so I could get the featues I wanted - I think their prices were on target. I would hire them again in a heart beat.”

Joe and his crew finished a basement which also included adding a full bath. They upgraded a porch, kitchen and painted the entire interior. Joe is patient, a good listener and offers creative solutions to problem areas. He is knowledgeable about construction, pays attention to detail and is especially talented with finished carpentry work. The home sold the first month on the market and the buyer's agent said it was one of the best remodels he had seen.”

“Two months prior to my due date with our second child, a contractor we hired to rearrange our master bedroom walked off the job. We were left with half completed drywall, wires hanging from our ceiling, and a completely destroyed carpet. Seth and SDC came in and not only fixed the sub-par job the previous contractor had done, but exceeded all of our expectations. He is professional, courteous, and absolutely saved the day. Seth and SDC also converted the stairs in our 1942 cape cod from a dangerously steep angle. The end result was perfect. He followed plans to the utmost detail, and we couldn't be more pleased with the end result! We are now considering adding an addition onto our home, and will not be contacting anyone but Seth and SDC. To find someone that is not only incredibly talented at what they do, but is also professional, timely, and kind is worth its wait in gold. We cannot recommend Seth or SDC enough!”

“I have had multiple services provided by this company and Brent in particular. I've had them install Christmas lights for 3 years now. A large project to redesign a fireplace area with drywall and granite. Enclose the back of the fireplace with drywall and a chair rail. Close up an interior window with drywall. Plumbing- kitchen faucet, tub drain and caulking. Electrical- addition of ceiling lights, basement workshop lights, workshop outlets, additional outlets for a bookcase, outdoor sensor lighting. Installation of ceiling fans. Sump pump repair, replacement of battery. Misc repairs with cabinet door hinges, minor roof repairs, installation of screen door. Every experience has been very positive. I get quick call backs, scheduling is flexible and timely. I appreciate the care in which projects are completed , from explanations and planning, quality of products and service, to clean up and follow up. Extremely professional and would eagerly recommend them, and I have to friends and family. I like that the same person can work on multiple projects and is familiar with my home and wish list. I value his recommendations and trust his guidance on repairs. Brent has a broad knowledge of all types of repairs or home enhancements.
