The Home Builders Association of Michigan (HBAM) is a professional trade association, chartered in 1948 with the National Association of Home Builders. HBAM is comprised of 26 local home builder associations around the state and their builder/associate members.

We are the Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Ann Arbor, also known as BRAG Ann Arbor. Made up of 350 member businesses, we primarily represent leading local professionals in home building industry. We allow them to connect with each other through networking and information sharing, and facilitate them connecting with the public through marketing and events. We also serve the community by hosting meetings between local government and our member businesses pertaining to development and services. Since 1956 we have also made great things happen with our Foundation, from major fundraisers for housing-related charities, to world-class student building programs. Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Michigan aims to create a more beautiful, inclusive and better environment for generations to come. Established in 1955, the Home Builders Association of Jackson (HBAJ) is the voice of the building industry, dedicated to preserving and protecting the American Dream of Home Ownership. The HBAJ promotes professionalism while providing education and membership support. The association is comprised of 100+ members. A hard copy of our Membership Directory & Buyers Guide is available upon request—it offers listings of professionals in the building industry. You may also search for members on-line, either by name or trade category. Our association promotes the use of licensed and insured contractors.
