Since 1938, AIA Austin has been serving the professional needs of architects and allied professionals working in fields related to architecture, design and construction. Currently, AIA Austin serves more than 900 professional members and a wide network of allied members in the greater Austin area, providing the architecture community with resources and relationships to make a positive impact through design and community involvement. Founded in 1946, the Texas Association of Builders (TAB) is an affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and has 28 local home builders associations and nearly 10,000 members across Texas. Representing over 702,500 jobs and more than $31.1 billion annually in the Texas economy, the state and local associations play a crucial role in providing housing for Texans.
Since 1953, the Home Builders Association (HBA) of Greater Austin has served as the leading not-for-profit trade organization dedicated to residential construction and remodeling in Central Texas. With approximately 750 member firms, the HBA works with government, public, business and community organizations in six counties - Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Lee, Travis and Williamson - to advance the practice and professionalism of the home building industry in our community so that all people in the Greater Austin area live in strong communities and homes that enable them to thrive.
