The Mission of the HBA of Raleigh-Wake County: Advocate, educate and promote the building industry The Home Builders Association of Raleigh-Wake County (HBA) represents and promotes the interests of the residential building industry on issues that affect their ability to provide affordable housing for all citizens of Wake County. The association serves as the voice of the residential construction industry at the local, state and national levels.
The National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) is a non-profit trade association that promotes the professionalism of the kitchen and bath industry. It has grown into the premiere association of designers, retailers, remodelers, and other professionals. The NKBA’s certification program emphasizes continuing education and career development and includes designers and professionals in all segments of the kitchen and bath industry. NKBA-certified designers demonstrate comprehensive knowledge in kitchen and bath design, as well as construction, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems; are skilled at assessing consumers’ individual needs and wants, creating designs that meet and exceed these requirements; and adhere to a strict Code of Professional Conduct.
