I have been a Professional Member of NWSID for 21 years. I find it is very beneficial for an Interior Designer to belong to a professional organization. You can network with like minded people, learn new things pertaining to our field at every meeting, get opportunities for further education - staying on the ball -, make great connections with Professional Resource Affiiates, - these are the people who actually physically do the work on the job, - while we do Design, Project Management, Purchasing and keeping the clients happy. ETC..... It has been a great relationship over the past decades.

NWSID has been a valuable resource for me as I get my new Interior Design business off and running. I am a recent graduate of Bellevue College and this organization has help me with business tools and fundamentals they don't teach you in school. Extremely grateful for the networking opportunities, product knowledge, resourcing, training, and simply creating new business friendships!

I am a professional member of NWSID and have belonged to this group since I was a student at Highline Community College in 1990. One of my teachers belonged to the group and made a big impact on me. The relationships with the members offers not only networking, working with peers, but friendships. You always have someone you can call for support or help. The meetings are educational and happen in a showroom to the trade so you are always learning. It has been a positive experience for me and my company. I would recommend it to anyone as a professional organization, and I do!

NWSID is local professional design organization in the Pacific NW. The majority of our members practice residential design. NWSID has been a great source of talent, knowledge and resources to home owners, builders and contractors. Many or our members are featured on Houzz as well as interior design magazines and trade literature.

As a contractor doing remodeling for discriminating home owners I enjoy knowing the fine design professionals at NWSID. The true quality of our service is supported by innovative design and care about the details, and we have found both in the members of NWSID.
