As a member of this organization for going on 20 years, I have first-hand experience with the important purpose OSHBA serves for the home building industry in Oklahoma. It promotes professionalism and excellence, while advocating at state and national levels, fighting for legislation and policy that makes sense for both its members and the consumer. Led with continuity from year to year by its Executive Officer, Mike Means, and with rotating member-Leadership chosen by local associations throughout the state, OSHBA is a respected organization on many fronts. Anyone with ties to the home building industry in Oklahoma should make membership a priority.

A member of this Association
I simply cannot say enough about Mike Means and the Oklahoma State Home Builders Association. As a long-standing member of this professional association, I have watched this association continue to grow into the premier resource for education and legislative advocacy on behalf of our industry. Mike's strong political and lobbyist background makes him a great fit for this association. As a member of this great association I am asserted that I will have an opportunity to get the education needed to keep up with this ever changing industry, from building materials and techniques to constantly changing building codes. The avocacy efforts through the Oklahoma State Home Builders Association under the leadership of Mike Means is second to none. It's great to know that I've got this entire organization working not just for me, but on behalf of all homebuilders and developers across the state, protecting us against unnecessary and onerous regulations thus helping protect our industry and keeping housing affordable in Oklahoma. If you're a professional homebuilder or developer you are most likely already a member of the Oklahoma State Homebuilders Association, if you are not you certainly need to be! Being a member of this association has added to the profession image of our company, Sun Custom Homes.
