“Stonehenge Construction was a delight to work with and provided the most stress-free remodel we have ever dealt with! Not only were they professional, they were on-time, cost effective and dependable. Their subs were also prompt, professional, clean and trust-worthy. Every detail was right on and it couldn't have gone any smoother! We gutted our kitchen, master bathroom and a guest bath. We had a laundry room between our kitchen and family room and that was moved upstairs to open up these two areas. We also utilized space on our back porch to open up the area even more. Hardwood floors were installed in the kitchen and the family room. The hardwood floors in the dining room and foyer were re-finished to match the new floors. The kitchen has custom built, maple cabinets with a antique white finish with a brown wash. With all of the extra space, we have an extra large island with a granite counter top. All of the appliances have cabinet fronts, a relocated pantry, a bar area with a ice maker, double ovens, 5-burner gas cook top and a cookbook shelf at the end of the island. We also have a china cabinet with lighting, under mounted cabinet lights and "invisible" plugs mounted under the cabinets as well. Our new kitchen looks like something out of a magazine and we couldn't be happier! The master walk-in closet was expanded to included the washer and dryer that was previously on the first floor. The guest bath has a new cast iron tub, all new tile, a soapstone counter top and a updated vanity. The master bath was updated by removing the Jacuzzi tub, relocating the 2 vanities and constructing a huge walk-in shower. The water closet has a new Toto toilet and the door was removed to open up the space. The newly tiled floor includes a marble/granite tile "carpet" and floor heating. The huge walk-in shower has a granite seat, 2 shower heads and granite cubbies for storage. The custom built vanity has a granite counter top and a make-up area. If you love your home and you don't want to move, we would highly recommend Stonehenge Construction to update the home that you love! “We had both a complete bathroom renovation and a basement renovation. The bathroom consisted of gutting the bathroom to the studs and rebuilding the entire room. The basement consisted of adding cabinets, a sink, and a counter/bar area. Both jobs stayed within alloted budget and their design team was wonderful. “They removed our Hardy Board siding that had been is talked without flashing, removed the rotten underboards. Installed new vinyl siding that matched the old hardy board on the whole house. Fixed areas of trim around windows and the roof that were peeling or rotten, as well. They were affordable, quick, thorough, and clean.”

“We had a complicated large window repair that involved a rotten timber that had been improperly flashed. The architect for HH spent over an hour conferring with three of his carpenters before giving us an estimate. We also needed two rotted window seats repaired which we all assumed would be more straightforward. Thankfully, they found a way to replace the rotted beam in the larger window but the two smaller windows were found to have been so poorly installed that much of the siding and insulation had to be pulled out and repaired. HH Construction completed the job in a timely manner and within estimated cost. I especially like that the owner employs skilled and experienced workers and communicates with them respectfully so that there seems to be good collaboration and communication.”
