As soon as I saw the work he had done, I knew that I wanted him to design a garden for the front of my house in Seattle in the Greenwood neighborhood. Not only do I now have a beautiful garden, but Reese has gone above and beyond the call of duty, so to speak, to be sure that all the plants are healthy AND he has devoted extra hours to explain the watering system to me and be sure that I understand everything. His work is thorough, expert and he is 100% reliable. What more can you ask? Well, he's also an incredibly nice and considerate person!”

“My wife and I wanted to replace our ageing 20 year old cedar deck in our backyard. So we contacted Kevin Monohan, co-owner of Avalon NW Landscaping, and our neighbor up the street. The design effort was truly a collaborative process, which we liked. We met with him 4 or 5 times throughout the process to conceptualize and to come up with a design about the layout, the hardscapes, the plantings, and the timing and execution of the plans. Kevin always encouraged us to give our ideas for the patio. It was always a joy meeting with Kevin. He always considered our ideas and offered his advice on what he thought would be best design for our patio. And he was cognizant of our cost constraints and laid out options for us to consider. Kevin also immediately notified us of additional work that needed to be done that wasn't known in the early planning phases and we were able to make decisions about these changes. Kevin has an excellent combination of skills, both interpersonal and professional. The crew that did the work was also fantastic. The three of them worked diligently for three weeks and each day cleaned up the site meticulously. We were amazed at how proficient Avalon NW Landscaping was at keeping on track and on-budget with our backyard project. When it was all done, we were very pleased with the process and the outcome. “These guys are outstanding! They showed up on time, and took out 3 trees and some shrubs and bushes in about 15 minutes.
