I can not say enough great things about this company! I had such a great experience with them. Not only do they strive to have excellent detailed work, they strive to have excellent communication. They contacted me regularly throughout the process to make sure things were meeting my expectations. They were polite, understanding and helpful. I forever will recommend them to anyone and everyone. Awesome, awesome company! All contract/renovation companies should run like this. Super impressed.

Blue Jay's does excellent work. Your building envelope is so important to integrity of your home and you need to pick a company that knows what they are doing. Paul and Bjorn know Hardie Siding and did a great job on my house. They are highly recommended.

I canvassed 4 different companies to completely redo the outside of our house. I will say that of the 4 four companies Blue Jay was not the lowest quote. They were; however, the most responsive, the only company that could provide a rendering of the project and the only company that provided us with a complete set of measurements for our house. They were also the only ones to check-in and follow up with whether or not I had any questions following the estimate phase. It was absolutely worth the money spent for the personal responsiveness as well as the attention to the project. We had all of our siding replaced, added rock and put Hardie Trim around the windows. They did a beautiful job! Because Blue jay focuses solely on renovations and not new developments they are completely committed to your project until it is finished. Bjorn came to the house to check on the progress everyday. There were no surprises, they let us know what was happening at every step and ensured we were happy with the progress along the way. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking at renovating the outside of their home.

I am very happy with the siding and window casing services provided by Blue Jay exterior services. They were punctual (as a matter of fact, they were able to start on the project earlier than what we have previously discussed....bonus!) and they were quick to start and finish the project. As someone who isn’t very experienced in renovations (or construction in general), I felt that they were very clear, honest and helped me understand the process and steps involved in completing the project. Their communication was excellent! They kept me informed on their progress, almost daily. They were also very transparent and clear, which was very appreciated. They offered to go over the finished project once they were finished and, although they finished the job promptly, I never felt like they were cutting corner or rushing to get things done at my expense. The finished project looks great and I am looking forward to working with them again for future projects.

Blue Jay was a pleasure to deal with start to finish of our project. They continued to impress over an over again on how well they communicate with their clients in addition to having things presented in a timely manner from providing samples at the start of the process to informing us of progress through out the installation of our siding. Mike, their installer was professional, courteous and very cleanly on the jobsite. Can’t say enough of Mike and his workmanship. Paul was a joy to deal with on the planning side of things with supplying multiple samples including actual siding samples once it was narrowed down to the final few choices all of this in the convenience of our home. We would highly recommend Blue Jay to anyone in the market for new siding.

Paul and Bjorn went beyond our expectations to ensure we were ready for a wonderful transformation of the exterior of our home. Any questions we had were promptly answered (usually in less that 2 hours by email). We were provided with a quote that was clear and detailed and it was promptly updated as each change came about. There were absolutely no hidden costs and no surprises. The crew worked with care and attention to detail, cleaned up the entire work area every evening and finished the project a little ahead of schedule. We used Blue Jay for a full exterior reno of our bungalow in Edmonton. They removed the siding and stucco, repaired water damage underneath poorly installed windows, and replaced the soffits and gutters. Everything looks great and Paul was awesome to deal with. All the changes during the course of the project were clearly explained and a price was agreed to before they moved forward. I'd definitely recommend Blue Jay!
