MasterCraft Roofing Siding Windows

I had MasterCraft replace the siding on my house with Hardie Board. There quote was 15% lower than the competition. Their timeframe for finishing the work was before the other vendor could start. I dealt with John; he always got back to me in a timely manner and with the communication method I preferred. Marco and his team worked very diligently and despite weather difficulties finished in the time estimated. Areas of concern were addressed by Mario and he made sure it was you who made the decisions. No pressure to do things one way or the other was ever made. Best price, excellent workmanship, great communication equals one Happy Customer.

As a matter of fact, I am way less than pleased with my windows, and I thought I would let you know before I posted any review. I think I pointed out some of the issues while you were here, but you attributed them to the large size and weight of the windows. Some don't stay open, some don't stay closed. Difficult to lock, as you close the bottom sash, it pulls down the top sash, so you actually need 3 hands to operate. Additionally, the small bathroom window has about 1/4-1/8" play when locked, which was very apparent during cold weather. I'm sorry I couldn't let you know sooner, but have been preoccupied, and wish that it had been done right to begin with. Update: Contractor claimed this is a common issue in all brands of windows, but I have seen other installations where this is not true, and have been advised by other professionals that this is due to imprecise installation. Additionally,none of my many 120+ yr old windows of similar size are as difficult to operate. He came back to look at the small bathroom window, and was very apologetic, promised to order and install a correct replacement size, but that was 2 1/2 years ago, and have not heard from him since.

They bid my siding project to install prefinished Hardie Plank siding and Azek trim and gave me a fair price. They completed the work quickly and at the agreed to amount with no surprises. We hired MasterCraft New England several times over the past 9 years for various issues with different parts of our roof. We always found them to be wonderful to work with. They did a great job at a reasonable price. One time, we had a water stain on the ceiling and couldn't figure out where it was coming from. John O'Brien came out right away spent a lot of time helping us figure out where the leak was coming from.Once we figured it out, his team came right away and fixed the issue. We would use them again.

I had John replace my roof, sidings, windows, and enclosed my front porch. He transformed an eyesore of a house into one that looks proud to be in the neighborhood. While he's not the cheapest, the price is reasonable. He stands by his work. He fixed a few hiccups during the way, and came back to make some minor modifications after the work was already done and paid for. If I buy another fixer upper, I would hire him again.

We interviewed three contractors for a major siding replacement/repair job last year at our cohousing condominium and were very happy with the work and the relationship we've developed with John O'Brien of MasterCraft. John provided personal time, explanations and information about the nature of our problems and his plan for the work. His team works independently, but he was also on-site frequently and could be reached at any time of day or night or day of the week by phone and email. He was responsive to concerns raised by members of the community, was as excited as we were about getting an exact color match, and completed the entire job quickly. We're happy with the work, have asked him back for other smaller jobs, and will undoubtedly work with again in the future.

John O'Brien of Mastercraft is a true professional with outstanding credentials and integrity. He has installed on wo occassion a 9' slider and huge bay window in my home and the job was done on the day he said the crew was coming and for the exact price he quoted. The quality of his work is has been proven as teh slider is 3 years old and working lie day it was installed and the bay window has insulated my family tremendously through this very cold winter (it was installed shortly after Thanksgiving. There is no other company I would deal with other than Mastercraft.
