I did a lot of research and got qoutes from other solar providers prior to contacting Jim at Celestial Solar. He met with me quickly and was straight to the point with no attempts to upsell. The system he installed for me provides more power and cost less than all the other qoutes. He was also able to go from meeting with me to finished install in under 3 months. I had been working with other companies for almost 2 years with no work starting.

Jim Reilly and his team at Celestial Solar were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Jim was very straight forward and transparent about what to expect and with the time frames of everything. He was never pushy which I appreciated very much. He gave us the information and let us decide what to do. His communication throughout the entire project was great. He constantly updated us on where we were in the project. His installation crew was quick, clean, and very respectful. The system is working just as well as he said it would. I felt very comfortable working with Jim and his crew through the entire process. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to go solar.

When my husband and I decided that we wanted to have solar panels installed, we did an extensive amount of research and believed we were experts when we finally began our search for a company to install the system. Jim Reilly of Celestial Solar Innovations represented one of four solar companies we scheduled to meet with. We were immediately comfortable with Jim when he came to our home to discuss our goals and options. We did not feel any amount of pressure during the entirety of the meeting. There was never any ego in his pitch (something we felt with a couple of the other contractors), just pride and sincerity. The valuable information Jim provided led us to quickly realize that we were not the experts we believed we were. Jim patiently listened to and answered our questions and concerns, and by the end of the meeting we felt that Jim had not only given us a clear understanding of what we could expect both immediately and in the future, but also that we could secure an even better system than we had imagined without exceeding our budget. He thoroughly described the make-up of the system. As we were considering our options over the next couple of weeks, Jim responded quickly and intelligently to all of our questions. The look of the panels was a high priority to us. We purchased the all black LG panels that Jim suggested and, in my opinion, our roof looks sharper than any other solar roof in our neighborhood or beyond because of those panels! It was also important to us that the conduits not be visible on the roof, and he assured us that they could be run through our attic, which they were. Jim was the only one of the four individuals we met with to tell us about the Quick Mount Elevated Seal anchors that his installers utilize, and I have peace of mind that our roof will have no leaks resulting from the anchors. We were provided various production expectations based upon different system sizes and ultimately went with a system that gives us a 100% return. It is very rewarding when I look at my BGE bill and see multiple days of credits to be applied against minimal charges that result from overcast and rainy days. Our first post-solar BGE bill was $28.00, and that is because we had a week without solar on that cycle, and we contribute to the Fuel Fund. We expect a credit on our next bill. The cost of the system was also a priority, of course. One of Jim’s first comments in that regard was that he predicted he would provide the second lowest quote to us. He was correct, but by the time we made our myriad of changes to our original specifications, his quote became the lowest of the four we received. He carefully explained the federal and state credits we would receive, as well as SRECs, and calculated that we would recoup all of our costs within seven years, well within the warranty period and long before we would have to replace any parts of the system. The process couldn’t have been easier on our end. We simply had to make the decisions, be home for a day, and write the checks. We have yet to reap the benefit of the credits, as we get to claim them on our 2017 returns, but we expect that Jim has proactively done all that needs to be done to secure those credits for us. We are extremely pleased with the system and the process, would highly recommend Celestial Solar Innovations to anyone seeking to install solar panels.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Celestial Solar Innovations and Jim Reilly. When we decided that we wanted a solar system on our house we talked to a number of different companies. Celestial far and away was at the top of the pack. During our first meeting Jim presented a few different options for use to pick from and help guide us through the various options. He was able to answer all of my questions with detail and confidence. Our second meeting went just as well. Jim is incredibly responsive to emails and phone calls. He does not push you into decisions but gives you the information needed to make the best decision for you. Unlike some other solar companies I talked with, Celestial was very open and not "sales pitchy." The financing was easy and the installation went off without a hitch. They system has performed as expected and includes online monitoring so that I can see what the panels are producing real-time. I wish I had room on my roof for more panels because I couldn't be more happy with our system and Celestial. Jim still emails and calls from time to time to check in and see if we are still happy with our system. It's a first rate company from top to bottom. I would highly recommend this company and the services they provide.

We now have a really nice solar system that is aesthetically pleasing, properly installed, and functioning up to specifications. Jim and his crew went to a lot of extra work to complete our project. Because our building was permitted as an agricultural structure the county required several changes to the original design. Jim was able to keep everything moving through the county approval process and always gave us options when the county required changes. In spite of changes along the way it was a great experience and we appreciate all the extra time Jim put into our project.

He went over several options for the system and how it would work for us. He gave these options to us in writing along with the cost of each.
