We chose Green Home Systems over better known local solar companies 19 2018, because they offered better guarantees on products.The first time we heard back from them since installation was in 2023 when they urged us to spend a significant chunk of money to upgrade our system from 3G to 5G so we could and GreenHomeSystems could keep track of how or solar system is doing. In January 2024, we paid $800. for the ungrade which required GreenHomeSystems to install the upgrade within 2 weeks. It's now March 2025 and our system is NOT upgraded. Worst of all, even after hundreds (and I mean hundreds of attempts we made) no. one has taken responsibility to get the job done!!!!! After months of trying an installer drove here from Milwaukee and discovered that the company sent the wrong parts. They did this two times, and the installer said that he couldn't affort to keep driving here. The compant finally sent what looks like the right Solar Edge equipment, but Green Home Systems hasn't done anything to get an installer to complete the job. Most of the time, no one answers the phones at BHS! On the rare ocassions that we reach someone, they promise in a sincere voice that they'll take care of it right away. Now we're looking into how we can legally switch our contracts to a different company. This may be a costly, but necessary effort if we want to add panels and continue using solar energy.

They were easy to work with and took the time needed to explain everything to us before we purchased.

I went through Green Home Solar to get my solar panels on. They were helpful in getting me approved for the finances of the project. They were quick to send someone out to do the project. They sent one man to put in my pannes. As I understand this should be a team job but they only sent one person. The panels were installed at the beginning of July 2023 but the insulation was not correct so I could not use the panels. They did not fix the panels until November of 2023. During this time I had to pay on the loan but could not use the pannels. So they told me they would pay me back for the money I paid while I could not use the panels. When I asked them when I would get the money they owed me they told me that I would just have to wait until they got the money. It is now April 2024 and I still have not gotten the money they owe me and they just keep telling me I just have to wait until they get around to paying me when it is convenient for them.

The service we received so far has been okay. Plus this is the first time we had heard from anyone since we purchased our solar panels.

I had the solar panels installed in 2021 and it's been great, love the electric bill. They are a great company they have always gotten back to me in a timely manner. Very nice people to talk with and helpful. They answered every question I thru at them. The reason I gave them a 4 star rating is because the first company they sent out didn't know that what they was doing. They sent a man named Roy and he was great, he had everything where is was suppose to go.

Customer service was wonderful! I was contacted fairly quickly after requesting information. I then was set up with Rachel Hebert as my service manager who has been wonderful at keeping us in the loop of our solar project, easy to contact and very personable. The price was also the best from all the companies I contacted.

They are very good company to deal with. The people are very well informed about the business to answer any questions you have.

I am happy with my solar system and its power production. I have not had to pay any money to Edison for several months.

From start to finish the installation went smoothly . The project mangers all acted professionally. Final Edison approval took the most time

We are enjoying our solar system. Our power bill is about $11 a month. We love the app that tracks what we produce & what we use each day. Go solar with Green Home Systems!
