“For almost 45 years, our Louisville home had a Grumman solar domestic hot water system. It served us faithfully until a hail storm a few years ago brought that to an end. The panels were gone shortly after the storm, but our basements was still home to a maze of copper pipes, a 80-gallon storage tank and the controller and heat exchanger for the entire system.
