“Scott with KnD energy is extremely knowledgeable about solar systems as well as the building/electrical codes. His pricing was fantastic after shopping around extensively. He still follows up with me to see how the system is working over a year later. Can't say enough good about this company.”

NRG UPGRADE
Los Angeles, CA Solar Energy Contractors
May 10, 2018
“I recommend NRG Upgrade as I had a great experience with them. I thought of going solar for a while but I was hesitant until a friend who has done it, convinced me. I reached out to them and got a full estimate, they made sure to explain every thing and show me what I will be getting. The installers were really nice and professional, the work was clean and quick and their manager was super attentive. I really felt like I was in good hands. I am very happy with the results and even happier to know that I chose the better and cleaner way of living. Highly recommend.”

“Work was neat and professional. Top notch panels, and equipment. Job took a while, but this was not Solar Opitum's fault. Lots of rain delays, waiting on permits, inspections, and waiting on the utility company. Company was recommended to me by the Electrical Section of Building and Safety where I work. Appears to have been a good choice.”
LA Solar Group

“I was tired of getting $200 electric bills in the summer in Los Angeles due to my air conditioning. So, I decided to go solar. I checked out a few companies but they either had mixed reviews or kept calling with sales pressure. I found LA Solar on the Internet. It had many good reviews over a long period of time. This sounded legitimate. They came out and gave me an estimate of about $18,000. I decided to go forward. It was supposed to be finished in 1.5 months but it too closer to 3 months. The price went up a few thousand dollars because I have a metal roof and and part of the roof had to be re-roofed to accommodate the solar panels. But LA Solar cut the revised estimate by $500 by cutting their profit. So, I paid more than the original estimate but they reduced their profit. This was OK since we couldn't put solar panels on a metal roof. The work was finally finished in December 2015. It took so long due to many city inspections. But at least on one occasion, the company didn't show up when the inspector came. This caused a delay. It was supposed to go live around Christmas time but it didn't work. The problem was eventually found to be a defective part. After that was replaced a few days later, the system went live and everything has worked since then. I use an average of 23 kWH per day in my house (I have electric and plug-in hybrid cars). On a sunny day in the spring, I generate 33 kWH from the solar panels. My last few electric bills have been $10 per month (transmission charges). Plus, I will get credit for the excess power that I generate. I am in the black by a cumulative 600 kWH over the last few months! I can't wait to see how much I generate this summer. I feel like the electric company. I am grandfathered in for net metering for the next 20 years. I think you have to contract for solar panels no later than Dec. 2017 to be grandfathered for 20 years in California. I calculated the internal rate of return on my solar panel investment using my cost of about $22,000 and estimated savings for the next 20 years. It is 13% per year! I can't get that in the stock market. Plus, I will always use electricity, so it is a safe investment, assuming my panels work efficiently for the next 20 years. I claimed a 30% federal tax credit on my income tax. Too bad Southern California Edison ran out of rebate money. I highly recommend LA Solar. Except for a few minor glitches, they did a good job, never gave me sales pressure, and were very nice to me on the phone.”
Run on Sun
Los Angeles, CA Solar Energy Contractors
Dec 19, 2016
“I have a 4 kW array on my roof for 10 years now and by now I have dealt with about half a dozen solar companies. I am giving Run on Sun the highest rating because of its owner who was personally involved in the repair project and discussed with me in detail what has to be done and gave my correct cost estimates for all options. At the end he donated my used equipment to a charity which gave me a nice tax break. A great guy, honest, professional and dependable.”

“Excellent and Easy Process. From the start to the finish product, the process was super easy. We are so happy we decided to go solar with Pacific Sky! We interviewed other companies, but they were the most upfront and most reasonably priced. They were responsive when we had questions and when everything was installed, they sent out Robert to explain and make sure all our questions were answered.”

“After hearing a lot about solar systems and how they can lower the utilities bills, I start to search and see what I can get in regards to discounts and how much will it cost to implement. I contacted several companies and I started to meet with them and to see what they have to offer. One of the companies that I met and talked to was Sunshine Solar. My researched about them revealed that they are reliable, honest and they do finish any job they are taking. My meeting with Netanel was very good and I learned a lot from him about solar panels and systems. Netanel explained to me what can he do and what it will require in order to install. The solar system that he recommended me came with a good promotion from the state and the bills should come down a lot. The work that he did took close to a month due to all the back work that needed to be done prior. My system is fully working now and I’m very pleased with the work that they did. Netanel is a great communicator person that made sure to inform me about any stage that he completed during the work. His office staff are great too and they always returned my calls within a normal time after I left a message or an email.”
