We began working with Cathy Reed to redesign our kitchen space. She looked at our existing layout and came up with the most effective and visually appealing option for the redesign. Moving forward, the scheduling of our remodel worked well, with the plan for us to be non-functional in the kitchen for only 2-3 weeks. George, Ty ,Mark and Jose arrived in our home and moved quickly through the demo and remodel. Right in the middle of the work, Hurricane Sandy happened, but Fleetwood worked through the aftermath and was able to keep our schedule and we were back using our kitchen within 2 1/2 weeks from the start. They worked with their electrical and plumbing subs, the counter fabricator, and the town with the inspections to make it all happen. The attention to detail and craftsmanship on all of the finish work is perfect, corners on the trim, etc.. Jose and Ty did fantastic tile work on my backsplash. Overall, I LOVE my new kitchen and LOVED working with Fleetwood!”

“Can't speak highly enough of Eric at Paradigm. I'd been trying for months to identify a solution for enclosing our open bookshelves with cabinet doors. I even attempted to do it myself with IKEA doors and hinges off Amazon - not recommended. Finally found Eric through an Instagram hashtag and he worked some magic: came to meet us, measure the space, and take an existing door for color matching purposes; made the doors; and came to install them - over the span of ONE WEEK. He saved me additional months of headache trying to sort this out, and we were finally able to baby-proof the entire second floor of our home. Would recommend Eric a million times over, and are now looking for additional projects around the house just to have him be the one to complete them.”

“From 2010 to 2013 I was renting an apartment at 656 Parlin Street in Philadelphia and when I moved in the old kitchen was awful but I could live with it. After 2 years my patience was over and I told the landlord to change the kitchen and replace carpet with laminate flooring. She agreed but only if I find a place with reasonable price. “Ok, I know, when you see five stars you figure friends and family. Well I'm not. I'm just a very satisfied customer. How satisfied you might ask? Satisfied enough to drag David and his team at NY Woodwork to my next home, which will be a full brownstone restoration project! For my current home which I have just sold. David and his team helped me design, build and install custom cabinetry that helped to identify separate use areas, create massive amounts of storage and to be honest, became part of my apartment's aesthetic. During my open houses, I kept hearing about how beautiful the job was. David had someone on staff that helped me with the drawings, and I was able to visit his shop, review several choices of wood and finish as well as hardware for knobs and pulls. David's team works fast, can accommodate any customization you can dream of (and I did having him score each door to create a shaker look) and it seemed I had my cabinets in no time. The biggest difference is in the installation. Having great cabinets that are installed badly is a waste of money. My apartment did not have one level floor or ceiling, nor one plumb wall - so installing was a major feat - which David and his team passed with flying colors. David stands by his work. I had a small problem with some little paint cracks on a couple of doors, due to the climatization in my apartment. David whisked them off to his shop and had them back to me in a couple of days. I would heartily and readily recommend David and the team at NY Woodwork to anyone. Except don't call him next February, he will be busy with my job!”
