Primiano Architecture
Passive Solar Heating & Cooling Companies in Souderton
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsApril 29, 2020
“We hired Primiano Architecture to design an addition for our house. We had no experience dealing with an architect or doing a home improvement project of this magnitude. Primiano Architecture was recommended to us by an acquaintance. From our first meeting with Joe we knew he was the right person. He was honest, intelligent and most importantly he listened and made suggestions. It was a true partnership. Joe worked closely with us throughout design, township approval, choosing a contractor and final approval. We could not be any happier with how the project turned out. I would give Primiano Architecture 4 out 4 stars and would recommend him highly to anyone looking for an architect.”

“The centerpiece of our home renovation was a floating, black walnut spiral staircase envisioned by Jibe Design principal Juliet Whelan. It is breathtaking, and brings architectural distinctiveness as well as light into our row home. The project also gave us several more feet of precious space thanks to the removal of a chimney we did not realize was behind a wall. Whelan came into our space and saw all kinds of fresh possibilities, but also succeeded at learning and honoring our aesthetic. It was a pleasure to work with Jibe Design. From start to finish, we appreciated the design sophistication, professionalism and good communication.”

“Jeff is one of the most talented individuals I have worked with in my past 20 years in the industry. He has an amazing ability to walk into any room and immediately see the end product in vivid detail. His designs combine the best of space planning and functional design while maintaining a breathtaking sense of presence, scale and grandeur. Beer Architectural in my opinion has defined the modern estate home in affluent suburbs of NYC.”

“My husband and I hired Re: Vision Architecture to design a green home for us. We are in our 60's and wanted to create a space that both reflected our our current desires and potential needs in the future. Our architect, Mike Cronomiz, designed a home that truly speaks to our hearts. It has both beauty and grace. We give Re: Vision our highest praise for their service, creativity and understanding.”

“We contracted with a designer for an addition, approx. 460 SF. The process was smooth with helpful tips and hints, and the designer incorporated our feedback. The specs were reasonable and not excessively expensive, and met our needs. To this day it is the most used room in the house.”

“I have been working with Peter and Andrew for over 15 years. The result has been many great projects built thru great partnerships between Owner, Builder, Architect, and in my case, Kitchen Designer. They are a firm who establishes relationship that endure. Their imaginative vision combined with an old-school hands-on presence in the field amongst their most appealing qualities. We are presently engaged in a very ambitious project with other excellent partners, and I expect we'll do many more over the coming years. It is a distinct pleasure when their name appears in my e-mail box or phone dialer.”

“I am writing this letter today to attempt to summarize my respect, admiration, endorsement and gratitude I have for Arturo Palombo and the members of his team. I feel I owe it to whoever reads this that I provide some background information. In April 2010, my wife Amy and I purchased a home in Chester, NJ. It is a mid 1800’s reproduction that was about 20 years old when we purchased it. When we identified the house, it was on the right street for us and met most of our needs, but clearly needed to be updated. Being married to an Architect and having done a major renovation on our New York City apartment, we felt we were up to the task of making this house our home. We started in the usual fashion, getting recommendations from friends, reading through design magazines and talking to “one stop” kitchen designers and installers. After several months, we were not able to find anyone who would take the time to get to know us a bit and find out what we were really trying to accomplish. Then, one day, I was thumbing through a magazine and I saw a kitchen that I knew my wife would love. It was at a house in Madison, NJ. Needless to say, with the use of the internet, I was able to find out it was designed by Arturo Palombo Architecture, of Morristown, NJ. The rest, as they say is history….. Art, as he likes to be called, came to our house and we learned about his work on historical buildings, and he learned about our small, but growing family. He asked us questions like how are you going to use the space and made gentle suggestions to a design that, while we thought was perfect, but would have never worked. If I had to summarize things, Art saved us from ourselves. We knew we wanted to open the family room, kitchen and dining room up to make the space flow, for example, but tearing down the wall was not the answer. Art suggested creative use of cabinetry to divide the space, without making it feel choppy or detached. We were so impressed with his ideas and vision, we let him design 3 new bathrooms, a Laundry Room, our Mud Room and add things like a Pantry and Cubbies for the kids that we would have never dreamt of. Art connected us with tile designers that were more than just order-takers, but actual contributors to the project. He was able to communicate our sense of style to them which made the whole process more meaningful. This did not end up costing more than a trip to the Home Depot and having to fend for ourselves. Art worked closely with the General Contractor, always looking out for our best interests. As a matter of fact, he greatly exceeded my expectation of the amount of time he would spend during the actual construction phase. To be completely frank, I repeatedly asked him to charge me more for the services he provided, because in good conscience I could not stand by and watch him work for free. He never complained or minded, because it is obvious that he really loves what he does. In the end, we now have a house beyond our wildest dreams, for much less than we would have spent if we did these projects piece by piece. At resale time, which is many, many years away, we will not have to explain the quality and expertise that went into this project. It will be obvious, and we will have one person to thank for that, Art Palombo. Please feel free to call or email if you would ever like to come and see our home or ask any questions of my wife or I. Respectfully, Anthony Cuiffo”

“Stephen Foley was our architect for our 2013 remodel of our Mahoney cape in Bryn Mawr. My wife and I are still in awe of the master suite Stephen was able to design from a basic attic space using only a few perfectly-placed dormers on the existing roof line. We gave Stephen a long list of wants for this suite (i.e. lots of closet space, laundry room, large stall shower, tub, separate his and hers vanities and private toilet room). He got it all in in a fashion that not only feels spacious and comfortable, but that allows for the dormers on the front of the house to add symmetry and aesthetic appeal . At one point, my wife and I wanted to go back to the drawing-board due to ceiling height concerns but Stephen pushed us to go with his original design. We are glad we trusted him and his advice because the finished product exceeds our expectations. He also did a great job with a kitchen redesign, open foyer and space reconfiguration on the first floor of our house. He was also ready, willing and able to help us with selections and other design choices. Stephen was recommended to us by our builder, Ranieri and Kerns, and was also the lowest-price provider of the other architect firms we met with, so a win-win. We highly recommend him, thanks Stephen.”
