“It began when I bought a new home. There were no window shades for the sliding glass doors and other windows surrounding the doors. The doors and windows face a lake and I have no neighbors behind me but we live in a very sunny state and this area lets a lot of light (and heat) inside the house. I asked Lynn about putting us new shades and she suggested that I live in the house for a few months, or longer, and see how the different seasons affect the temperature in the house. I waited at least 6 months before approaching them again and telling her what I wanted that would best suit my needs. I knew I wanted something that held out the heat but I could still see the lake when the shades were lowered. She had the perfect solution. I went to their office and they showed me what they thought would work with the see-through heat protected shades and I love them. I can now see out to the back lake through the shades (when I have them down for the sun) and my house stays cool. I also had her make a valance to go all across the very top to match the shade and walls. They were very professional, came out when they said they would, had the material on time and did a great job in following through. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking for someone to give you ideas, good service, complete what was ordered and always returning calls within a day.”

“I ordered custom exterior window shutters, as well as, interior poly window shutters (approx. 4 in slats in white). The lead time was very long, (about three months) for that reason I gave four stars instead of five but the service was exceptional from the sales man coming in my home to measure - to the installers putting everything up. In fact, the installers were some of the friendliest and most professional workers I've ever had (and I've had many!) The shutters are a bit on the high-end side, but they are beautiful and I would use them again. I am putting a before and then an after pic. The before shutters were 1970's louvered style (very flimsy). The after shutters are wood engineered with gorgeous hardware details and sized in the proportion of the windows as opposed to thin decorative shutters.”
